Higher level thinking amazing
Absolutely a cock-a-doodle-doo of a great time!!! Favorite family game of the past decade!!! Even our 20-something older kids enjoy this with our youngest chicken loving seven year old who can beat their feathers off! I love the skill, strategy and challenge! Best game ever!!!

More Thinking than You'd Expect
With the cute theme and fun look, this game looks like another simple children's game, but it turns out being a bit more complicated than that. Selecting a leader for your ten-chicken army is already quite a puzzle. The goal of the game is to have a leader that shares two, and only two, characteristics with each other chicken in your army (called a match). The first army with all chickens matching the leader wins! There are a few special actions you can take: steal a chicken, infiltrate an enemy army, or lob an egg at an enemy chicken you think may be their leader. But, in the end, most of the game is finding new chickens to match your leader. Most victories will come from completing your own army rather than worrying about your opponents. It's a good game if players are around the same level of planning and strategy. A five or six year old may love the theme, and love playing the game, but they will have a tough time winning against a ten year old who can more accurately identify the best leader for their team. It really does take a fair amount of thinking and studying, which is a pleasant surprise, but can create an advantage for older children (or adults). More playthroughs for the younger children to figure it out will likely help in this area. In the end, our family loves the game. It's fun and simple, yet engaging and strategic. We can't think of another game that has this level of simplicity, yet also this level of thinking and studying. It's a pleasant mix put into a fun and love-able theme.

Missing item inside sealed box
The box came sealed, and after opening the was an empty space wher the eggs go. Checked the manual to see how many eggs there are supposed to be and it is actually missing one. There is also a very small plastic bag that is empty and I'm not sure what it is supposed to be there. I guess I'm the unlucky one here.

Fun family game
My 8 year old loves this game. It takes a bit to learn how to play it, but once you figure it out, it is a lot of fun. It uses logical thinking and critical analysis. We all enjoy playing it. Highly recommend.
