I was always afraid of the 512s looking like skinny jeans though!! But the 511s they don't cuff at the bottom very well but I make it work. But these 512s yo let me tell you!!! They fit amazing!! It's like 5'11's are meant for taking walks at the farmers market and grabbing coffee real quick... But the 512s are like walking a beautiful museum and then you're going to go to a nice dinner afterwards!!! I would say that I usually get a 34x30 in my 511's.. but the 512s I might have wanted to get a 34x32... I got the 34 by 30 in the 512s and they still fit great because I wore them with dress shoes I wouldn't go any longe and the 34x30 was perfect, but with my boots I might have wanted a couple of extra inches for the cuff, would have preferred the 34x32. But you can't have it both ways just something to consider.
