We love this landscape fabric. This is our second order. This time we ordered for our daughter. She was so impressed with how well this barrier performed in our yard. We wanted to suppress the growth under our hedges, so we removed all the weeds, turned the soil, and put down new topsoil. We placed the fabric on top of the soil and covered everything with medium-sized landscaping rocks! Our house looks fantastic. We also learned from our pest control technician that the landscape fabric is also a deterrent to bugs. We never had a bug issue, but occasionally we would see one (it is impossible to live bug-free in Georgia.) It has been two years, we do not have bugs, and the weeds are few and far between! The installation is easy. My husband completed ours alone. It took 7 tons of rocks to cover all the areas. He and my daughter installed her fabric and covered it with 10 tons of rocks. In my book, saying that this fabric is durable is an understatement! The price is outstanding and far more affordable than the prices at the DIY store. I was just over the moon when I found this product still available on Amazon!

This product is very durable. It doesn’t feel cheap, and are no weeds trying to grow through the weed barrier.

Very heavy duty ground cover. I used this in my flower bed area and then put rock on top. It has been down for a bit and so far no weeds are coming through. I would highly recommend this product.

Rge dewitt fabric is the best weed barrier there is

I purchased this product for next season. We used the same quality and thickness on 4 ft and 6 ft widths this year and were really happy. We burned holes in the product for vegetables and flowers. Any cuts or holes must be burned or the product will unravel. We had a problem when I hit a high spot with my lawn mower when mowing down flowers at the end of the season. We remove the product from the field each season and have been very happy with the weed suppression. There will be some weed pressure if left year after year because the product is woven to let water and air through. We will be using this three foot as the pathway between rows of direct seeded flower beds to keep weeds down. Well worth the investment last year from a labour and quality of production standpoint. Shipped quickly.

I used the box store bought material first and used this material as a second coat so I can compare them. The big box store material was so flimsy that I had to use rocks to hold them down so that I could put the staples in for every row. It took twice as long to put down the box store material down and took twice the staples. As well we had a storm come thought and the box store material was lifting and ripping. The box store material down not allow the rain to go through so the rain sits on the material. The Sunbelt ground cover weed barrier was a dream to put down in comparison. Just roll it out and put the staples in. No rocks required. We have had a storm come though and the Sunbelt material is fine and the water goes though the material. I plan on putting down cedar mulch and some rocks but may find that I have to remove the box store material as the water may pool and cause the cedar mulch to decompose too quickly. Time will tell. Maybe the big box store material will just decompose away quickly. The material bought here was well worth the extra price as it has some weight to it and is sturdy but allows the water to go though it. I expect this material to last years just based on the material used in it. No comparison between the materials. If thinking if worth the extra cost, just buy this material as it will take a lot less time and effort to put down and I expect it will last probably 5 times as long.

This is great ground cloth, should hold up really well. I saw this at a large nursery and the entire place was covered with this and they had all the for sale items in pots on top and it looked really nice, organized and clean. It was nice to walk on too. I am using it under rubber mulch and rock/pebble cover. Impressive but expensive! Con: it does fray a bit when cut but not too bad, I just folded over the frayed edge and tacked it down with staples.
