Great value!
This is a great extender; unlike 99% of similar products, there's absolutely no lag on this device whatsoever. In fact, I'm running my mouse/keyboard from it, 12+ hours a day, and I've not had a single stutter whatsoever. When you connect other heavy-duty devices (data-wise) to this hub, it copes perfectly and again there's absolutely no lag.

Simple to setup
This kit is very simple to setup, just plug everything together and it works. The most important thing to know? The Tx and Rx will not work through a network setup i.e. not via a switch or router. The ethernet cable between the Tx and Rx must be solely used for the connection.

Flawless
I moved into a new place and decided to put my PC in a cupboard in another room, and run cables (cat6, HDMI, USB) through the walls to my PC, for less heat/noise/mess. Everything worked perfectly except the USBs, which is understandable as I went way beyond spec and had around 10M lengths. There was constant disconnecting and having to reboot. This has completely solved that, basically plug and play and ready to go in under 2 minutes with no noticeable latency at all. No more disconnects, no more weird moments of latency. Well worth it for my use case.

Broken after 2 months
Lovely compact design. I used it to extend USB over 15 metres after I relocated my PC to a space outside of my study. Worked great for 2 months, great price... Then it broke. Started with occasional drops and reset, and then failed completely. Such a shame, I see others have had same fate

Reliable solution that works with minimal setup
Having built a garden office recently I needed a solution that would let me play PC games using my racing rig in the house. I ran 2 x 45m CAT6 cables plus a 45m fibre optic HDMI cable in some flexible conduit down the garden (bit of a task!) and connected this to one of the ethernet cables. There's no setup required, on the 'sender' side connect to the PC via USB, and on the 'receiver' side plug in the power adapter and connect your USB devices. In use it's indistinguishable from plugging straight into the PC. Time will tell how reliable this will be, I haven't felt either box get noticeably warm in use yet - one weak point of many devices like this are the cheap PSUs provided in the box but could always be replaced in the future. In summary, it works reliably and without issue.

Worked as intended
This worked without issue, I used it to connect a UPS in the server room to a pc else where. The UPS was detected fine and worked as expected.

Been using for my 3D printer for over a year now
I bought so i could have my 3D printer + USB Camera in one room, and my OctoPrint instance running from docker in my server cabinet. Much more reliable than a Raspberry PI based setup, i have the rooms of my house already wired for ethernet, so one end has printer and camera connected via USB. Other end goes via ethernet to my ethernet wall socket, and then to my patch panel, which then connects to the other device and finally, to my docker server host. USB Camera is 1080p and has ZERO lag or any difference vs when i used to run a PI directly. Highly recommended

I bought this product since I’m a professional photographer and was tired of Tethertools being the only realistic option for tethering, and then you’re at the mercy of USB technology and its 15 foot maximum length limitation without booster adapters. The only problem is that the unit on the camera end needs to be powered by a 5V/3A adapter, so you have to have a power source on the camera side, or do what I did and created my own tether cable out of a 25 foot Ethernet cable and a 25 foot adapter extension, wrapped in a nylon-braided sleeve. That way the remote unit on the camera is powered by the cable, and you can plug it in on your tethering station. The only limitation is the voltage drop on the adapter extension, since you can run the Ethernet cable up to 150 feet. With a 25 foot extension the voltage drop is still within acceptable ranges and it works great. You could probably find a higher voltage adapter for longer runs provided the drop is still within range (4.5-5 volts) at the end. There’s voltage calculators online that can tell you this information. I’ve been using this in my studio for about a month now and I have no issues. I have two separate camera bodies I use (Nikon D7200 and a Sony A7II) I can leave both of their USB connector cables attached to the tripod since the remote end has four USB plugs, and I can swap bodies without having to use a different tethering cable. I just plug the camera into the right cable and I’m off to the races. Overall it’s a great product, although I wish they would power the remote unit via PoE (power over Ethernet) instead of with an adapter. That would make it much more of an elegant solution, since you’d only need a single cable instead of the franken-cable I created.

Worked well for several weeks then completely died. Nearest amazon drop off point is 4 hours drive from here (2 there, 2 back) so I was stiffed for my $100. Avoid - something is fragile electrically in this design and long cable runs (even cat 6) pick up induced voltages and expose voltage differentials even on the ground line.
