This product functions as expected. It goes great under my new floor mats and conceals very well. Definitely recommend as it is well worth the asking price. I plan to purchase another one for the opposite side soon. This will go well as you can comfortably lock and store a decent size carry pistol if you can't carry in certain areas or buildings.

My husbands factory PLASTIC lids came apart from the box part....I know shocker. We purchased these and they are much better than the cheap factory ones because they are metal. Apparently spending 60 grand for a truck they can't bother to use metal on an item that is on the floor constantly being stepped on. Plus they are lockable, probably not super secure but nonetheless.

I somehow was missing my oem storage bin lid and gave this a try. Yes it's not going to fit flush like the oem but it prevents your foot or ankle from twisting. Took 20 mins to install, if that. Great sturdy material

They fit well but require some tweaking to make them close tightly, otherwise they make a racket going down the road.

I asked once if it would fit, I thought it would but prefer to avoid problems. Some keyboard warrior answered because she feels the need to be heard even when she hasn't got a clue between air and dirt! I deleted that question and asked again, asking for only answers with answers this time! It worked the seller replied.Yes, it fit! Not only fit but fit better than OEM! Now if I need to enter a government building, I don't need to leave things at home, I can leave them secured in the truck! They can be secured very safe and it would be easier to steal the truck than to take my "things!"OEM makes a lock to replace the flip open latches, but that would just be a good lock on a plastic cover and it costs $125+ for the set. This is steel and it covers the mounting hardware. That means if someone got into the truck, they would need a grinder or a big crowbar to pop the top. Since I don't park in dark alleys, that would look a little suspicious and draw unwanted attention.THANK YOU!!!

Easy to install, fits perfectly and looks great. However it's so thin and lid does not lock down tight to frame and you can grab lid and with a small amount of effort pry it open by hand. I'd say anyone over the age of 10 could get it open. The locking latch bends easily and pops right open. I bought this to secure my weapon when entering government buildings etc. for short periods o time. Highly disappointed. Went back to my cable lock box setup. Don't waste your money. A for effort and style F or security.

You get what you pay for with this one:I ordered this one because the other higher end ones out there are back ordered for almost 60 days.PRO’s- fits as expected, thick gage metal is good.CONS- lid was welded to frame with regular CABINET HINGES!, locking mechanism is weak. I could easily reach under the lid and bend the thing open if I wanted.CONCLUSION- it meets the criteria for transport of a firearm in CA (locked container not within reach of driver). But that’s it. This is not a SAFE way to STORE a firearm at all.
