EPAuto CP672 (CF11672) Cabin Air Filter Replacement for Mazda

I used these to replace the cabin filters on my 2012 Mazda3. While a pain in the neck to get into position, they fit just like OEM.

An exact match for my vehicle. Perfect and much more affordable than going with OEM parts.

It’s been almost 6 years (~23k miles) since I replaced my cabin filter, but that’s because I barely drive my car 4k miles/year. The installation was simple and the filter fits like the old one. I noticed an immediate improvement in the smell and air quality, which wasn’t bad to begin with. My only concern is this filter has ⅔ the pleats of the OEM filter (top of picture). I wonder if having fewer pleats is part of the reason why I didn’t notice much of an improvement in air flow, but this is only a small concern because the airflow was great before the replacement. It also makes me wonder if air flow will decrease faster over time with fewer pleats. The pleats on the new filter are thicker and more rounded than the OEM filter, so there may not be quite as much of a reduction in the total surface area. But, this is a small gripe and I can’t complain for the low cost of the filter. I would buy again, even if I have to replace it a little sooner.

Matched the OEM filter. Does the job. Not the easiest job replacing this filter, but that's on Mazda.

Fit 2013 Mazda 3 I skyactive hatch. Easy to install. Had to make sure it was the 2 piece filter as the results show 1 and 2 piece. Just installed. We’ll see how it does. +5hp by changing, I guess.

They fit perfectly but there are no air flow direction arrows like the OEM filters, so pay attention to which direction the ones you remove are facing.

High quality, good price, and definitely improved air quality in the cabin. Will replace every 15k miles going forward to reduce strain on air conditioner system. Takes a some finesse, not too bad once you get the hang of it, but still much harder to install than other cabin filters. (Pay attention to how the original filters come out)

(Photo is old filters) I’ve had my 2012 Mazda 3 for about 6 years and I’ve never changed my air cabin filters, my air was cold but wasn’t blowing very much till now! It took us about 10 mins to pop them in and now my air feels great!
