Seams daunting, but you'll realize only a small part actually will pertain to you so it becomes quite easy. Wrote up a will for my mom, then my aunt used the CD to make hers up. Eventually my husband and I will use it to re-write ours now that our kids are grown. If you have enough attention span to read for about 20 minutes (which I realize not everyone does these days) then you will find this super-easy.

It doesn't have the actual 8-1/2" x 11" forms in the packet. It has the forms like they should be written but you have to get the forms to fill them out.

Easy, comprehensive
Easy, comprehensive, straight-forward, and not as time consuming as I thought the process might be. I would definitely suggest this route to create a living will.

it seem like it will be easy because I understand what I'm ...
It appears to be just what I need. I have only read through half and not made my will yet. But, it seem like it will be easy because I understand what I'm reading. No confusion or fear in starting it myself. The only reason I have not started is due to my odd work schedule. If I'm not working, I'm not ready to just jump in like I should. But, at my age, it's time for me to do something Now!.

Not recommended
Ended up going to a lawyer to get a will done. It cost more than this book, but at least you have the state of mind that it's done right. This lacks a simple step-by-step guide for each situation you're in and left too many unanswered questions. This felt like a mess with all sorts of 'inapplicable' situations scattered throughout, such as trust funds. This is still written in "lawyer-speak", so expect to do a lot more research that you should be doing. This lacks a simple dictionary to explain what is needed. What bothered me is that it keeps recommending me to go check the latest rules for your state. Why can't the authors do this? They can't be bothered to go research what the latest rules/regulations are for wills in each state, update this book with the time/date of when this was done? I wouldn't recommend getting this if you need a will. I found free online sites that have online forms (which are updated based on current regulations). Or go to a real lawyer; it's not much more and it'll be done right.

This book helped me and several family members to prepare our wills!!! You will bot be disappointed, just takes time to make sure you do it right.

I bought this through Amazon.ca & received a U S copy! Not much good for me, in CANADA!! I will be returning as soon as I find out how to do that. Not happy.
