Changed Everything for the Better
My dog is a ninja like mastermind of an escape artist when he wants to be. We got him after living as a stray for the first two years of his life and when he sees a squirrel (or rabbit or bird, etc.) he wants to chase it and you better believe he's going to fight to run after them. It wasn't too much a problem until he managed to get away from us one night and we couldn't find him immediately afterwards. (The first few times he just went to the dog park like a catchable scamp.) He was away from home for four days when a saint found our flyers and our Neville and gave me a call.Since then we sought a harness that he couldn't slip out of and found he absolutely hates them. He chewed through both of them instantly and just looked at us like we were being foolish. But this harness changed everything! It's way easier to get on him than a normal petco style harness so he fights us less. It's also thicker (and we sprayed it with some bitter apple spray) so he hasn't been able to chew through it. Since we leave his leash attached getting ready for walks is a breeze now. It's nice and padded so I know it's comfortable for him.To make it even better Neville is practically leashed trained now. We worked with him for two months before and hardly made any progress, but with this harness he responds to us much better. Occasionally he sees one of those squirrels and gets excited, but for the most part he's a well behaved gentleman. It might just be a bit of his personality coming through, but if have a dog that isn't responding well to leash training try switching to a harness and see it helps. This one is really affordable for what you're getting, and you can lock the snap! Just be sure to get the right size. Neville always takes a medium but this was almost too big for him.

Slightly heavy and over size
Slightly heavy and size was little large so not great fit.

Great Dog Harness!
This is a great dog harness. With all of the padding, it looks like it is very comfortable on my dog. I have a smaller 62lb, female, long haired, German Shepherd, and the medium size harness fits her perfectly. I had to adjust the belly strap to almost its longest length though, with about an inch to spare. I have a feeling the large harness would have been too big, however. The harness literally takes 10 seconds to put on a dog. Just slip the front part over their head/chest, and wrap the belly strap around their body, and click. Done! There is also a locking tab on the belly harness, so that it does not come undone accidentally. My dog likes this harness much more than a collar. It does not choke her like a collar can tend to do, and I have much more control over the dog when she is walking. There is also a handle on the back of the harness if you need to take total control of the dog at any time, without using the leash. The nice thing about the harness is that the leash self-adjusts if the dog walks over it, or in a circle. The leash stays straight, and the dog does not get it tangled around their neck, or legs. Overall I would say that this is a very well thought out product, and I would highly recommend it for all of the dog owners out there.

Life saver
After trying multiple types of harnesses we decided to try these on our 50 lb 8.5 mo old lab pulling puppies. While this hasn't kept them from pulling...yet...they fit nicely and don't choke them. They look forward to going on adventures when we take these out of the closet.

Maybe have the chest piece be adjustable?
I was debating whether to get the Medium or Large for my 55lb chow/shepherd mix. I'm glad I didn't follow the sizing chart because a Large would have been way to big on him. Even with the Medium, the chest piece is very loose but I didnt want to go with a small because he is a very strong dog. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the fit. The harness sits farther back on him than I expected it to. It still works and is a great harness. He barely pulls with it, but when he does the tension on the leash doesn't hurt my hand like it did with other harnesses. The material does attract A LOT of dog hair, but is super soft and cushioned.

Better than expected
I have bought 2 of these for my dogs. 1 is a 86lb. Husky (large harness) and the other is a 67lb. (Medium harness) Coon/Lab mix. The harness's fit great and they keep the dogs under control as long as the dog is walking in the same direction as you or running in a circle. The only issue I have had is when my dogs decide they don't want to come in, they back away and pull out the back of the harness. I'm not sure how that can be fixed but I'm sure it will complicate the easy install of the harness. I really love the way it fits my dogs and doesn't make them feel uncomfortable. Very durable and cushioned in all the right places...

Love the handle on the back
I had one of these harnesses for my previous dog and was glad I could still find one for my new dog. They're very easy to put on, even on a wiggling puppy. The handle on the back also gives you better control.

Very well made. Very pleased.
This harness works great. He's had it on for several weeks and it is still like new. And this is on a dog that's tough as nails and destroys everything in his site...He doesn't mind a bit, except maybe his back itches a little, but he enjoys his back scratches that much more when it's off. It works great with the Freedom Aerial Dog Run 100 FT Standard Duty FADR-100SD that I bought. The two comprise some of the best purchases I've ever made. Thanks to the manufacturers and the vendors, and to Amazon for creating an excellent buying experience.
