Works Great - Plug and Play ...
I have an older Apple Macbook Air that doesn't have an Ethernet port, so I bought this to create one. Plug and play - works perfectly both with native MacOS as well as Fedora Linux 42, which I installed on the Macbook to replace the Apple OS. Great product ... great price.

Excellent for over four years!
Bought this over four years ago. Still going strong. I think once I had to unplug it because something lost connection, but that's the only problem I can recall.

Works with Linux
It works.I am using the adapter to add an Ethernet port to an old Chromebook now running Linux (Fedora, Ultramarine 40). Plug and play. One star off because the male USB plug takes some force to insert and remove, a little extra material in the way.

Does exactly what I need it to!
I recently started a new job that lets me work from home, which I'm LOVING (both the job and the working from home!) However the issued older laptop is wireless only, and the wifi connection isn’t always the most reliable. This became an issue when I was having interruptions during work, rendering me incapable of working.I'd never heard of anything like this but my senior father thought that this type of device must be a thing since laptops are so thin nowadays, there's no spot for an ethernet port, so I went hunting on Amazon and found this affordable magical little device. It’s a small, plug and play USB adapter that adds an ethernet port to my laptop. Plug it in and you will get a steady, wired internet connection. I like that there are three USB ports because it lets me connect my mouse, keyboard, and headphones with just one USB plug, and the ethernet connection on this device ensures I stay connected at all times. If you’re dealing with inconsistent wifi and need a simple solution, this is definitely worth considering.

Good widely compatible product at a really good price.
It seems to be as compatible as they claim. My TCL android TV connected to it just fine, which is good because a TV made in 2024 came with a 100baseT (yes 100, you read that right) ethernet port.with this, I can have the connectivity and networking capabilities of literally any other TV made these days that actually do come with gigabit ethernet because it's the 2020's and we haven't used 100baseT in a decade and a half.but I digress....The aluminum construction seems solid, and three USB ports are a nice (but not personally needed) bonus. Also Linux compatible which is a huge bonus. It even has a good stable connection, great for streaming. Installation was merely plugging it into my TV USB port and ethernet cable into the unit. Everything was plug and play. The price is quite good too, especially compared with a lot of other options available that are more expensive and way less compatible. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Love the multiple ports - it gets the job done.Be mindful of how you carry it - for those who will be traversing with laptop and so on...it may develop a shortage after some time.

Works PERFECTLY on my wifes SurfacePro
With most computers only coming with USBC ports, i was surprised to not find an ethernet connection on my wife's Surface Pro. We needed it for work to connect to a business phone and a headset. It worked flawlessly - just plugged it in and it worked. Great purchase.
