Q: Still asking the dimension of the area where the fob fits not the location?

The dimensions are approximately 0.52 x 1.73 x 2.0 inches deep. The four corners (when viewed looking down) are rounded with approximately 0.1 inch radii.

Q: My wife threw away the installation instructions and I cannot get it to clip in. Can you please link the instructions?

I used 3M double stick tape to hold mine in position

Q: Can you still close the lid with the key fob in the pocket?

No but did you know there is key fob storage in the right side of the steering column

Q: Has anyone tried this product w a cell phone holder such as the lorimar cup holder mount cell phone holder? (how sturdy is it?)

I have not tried it with a cell phone holder but it is much more stable holding a cup than the standard C7 cup holder. This is because the center piece stays put. I added Velcro to the inside of my cup holder to custom fit my cups for size. Just use a little ingenuity for a perfect fit.
