Already spoiled unfortunately, such a long wait hoping we’d be able to use it and then a hassle to see about a refund, really disappointed

This time I was able to salvage only 1 pound. I know since this is a fresh product it can go bad during transit. I will buy it again just because how much I like it. But getting it fresh and able to utilize the 5lbs, is a gamble

I think they could have done a bit of a better job for how expensive it was. There were a few tiny pieces that were soggy and seemed bad already. Especially if they want a recurring customer.

So I’ll update this if I get a message back from the vendor as I sent a seller message through Amazon. The Yautía came and was the correct one (purple) one smallish piece was rotten/soft (not too unexpected) but the biggest deal for me is the package was way under weight. Paying $6.00/lb is already a lot but whatever. Paying that and then getting 3.25lbs (3lbs 4.2oz) was very not cool. At the pound rate that would be 19.50 not 30 bucks. We’ll see what the vendor says. I bought these to make Puertorican vianda y bacalao as I am able to source white ones for pasteles here at the Asian market (look for little taro) Update to my review after working with the seller: bumped up the stars because the seller was awesome to work with and fixed the issue with the order. I will order from them again for sure if I can’t find these locally. They did good on their promise of taking care of the problem and refunded me.
