If i want to control 3 diffrent MIDI pedals with one foot switch is this the product I need?

I use mine for midi thru/split...so source going in, branches out to 4 devices all set to different midi channels.

I have heard that while it doesn't work with the beatstep, it does work with the beatstep pro. can anyone confirm this?

The quadra requires power over MIDI which the beatstep does not provide. I have only one midi out in my pedal controller but I have two midi guitar pedals that i want to controlled separatly. It is going to work with this?

It should as long as the pedals are on separate midi channels. This is basically a 'thru' box. One input, four (thru) outputs. I have one output from my midi controller keyboard that goes to the box and it controls four separate devices.
