I returned for an infinity 600.4. The infinity sounded great but clips before my speakers.This HL800.4 is solid and the price per what you are inheriting is awesome.. my SUV is so full of sound and the gain isn't even halfway up! I'm running 4pioneer coax/4tweeters silk dome/two 8ohm satellite cubes and this thing is taking it with no issue. My sub amp is pushing two 12 pioneer champion series at around 650rms. The plan is to upgrade the subs to run a clean 1300rms and have the mids and hi's keep up! I think we found the one! 120+rms at 4ohm per channel. This thing is sick! No ground loop noise or engine whine. I do hear a light hiss from some really cheap tweeters at min volume but cheap tweeters are boosted at rest to get loud fast. I have a set of Rockville tweeters that were under 30.00 installed and they do not hiss so it doesn't require a super high dollar tweeter just something in the 30-40 dollar range.👍 👍Update 3/20/24Amp still works like new! I torched a few tweeters and reran some wires to place all 4 6x8s and 2 tweeters and two cubes on two channels and then bridged a rf 2ohm sub and this thing is not breaking a sweat. its very versatile. The hiss I hear is from the built in fan but i dont mind it. Just hear it at resting volume but when volume increases you cant tell its there.May reduce to just 4 powerful 6x8s and super tweeters soon.now have two 12 inch ct sound stratos and they want about 1300rms per sub.
