Perfect for energetic singers...
STURDY. has been through many band practices and has been thrown. Perfect. The weighted base is awesome. Putting it together was easy too. Great to use if you're an energetic singer... I can just put it in the corner of my room and it's decently small. Love it.

Great as Standard Mic Stands. Even Better as Light Stands!
As affordable basic (low profile) mic stands, these Pyle stands work well, for a very fair price. The base is compact and heavy enough for proper stability, and the height adjustment works well. What I really love using these stands for, however, is as more compact light-stands for wand lights (such as these https://amzn.to/3KWLA0p ) around the house. By using the Pyle mic stands instead of the light tripod stands that come with the lights, I can place the lights in tighter spaces, with less to trip over, and it is definitely an upgrade in stability. Depending on which lights you use, do a quick check to make sure the light's mounting area matches the size of the Pyle, but so far, I've had success with a number of light fitting perfectly, and for those that don't, there are always plenty of adapter options.

Excellent quality and price
I've stumbled across A LOT of poorly-constructed mic stands on stages -- which should have been replaced years ago but so long as it's still standing up, it keeps getting used. Broken threads, screws that will no longer tighten, clutches that either don't hold or wont' let go. So I was very happy to see this no-frills, solid stand at a very reasonable price. After putting a few months of work into them, they are definitely going to be a repeat buy for me.

Good and affordable
Love how heavy the stands are, they’re not flimsy and are adjustable. My only bone to pick is the actual clip doesn’t work very well for all mics especially heavier ones, it tends to drop back down. Other than it works for the value.

Mic Stand is a Pile
Light piece of junk that wobbles with with no effort because the base is hollow and sitting on tiny feet around the edges If you like your floors or having your mic stay in place or want it to go back in place after grabbing it, avoid this. I'll be returning this and might just find a used one from a pawn shop. The rest of it doesn't even matter because the foundation of its function is a piece of hollowed out junk that will land your microphone into the floor. This is a mic stand for a rock star wax museum that isn't worried about authenticity. If you insist on keeping this after purchasing, don't get to excited while recording, don't jump around and don't expect to like the included clip either. I could feel its edges biting into the metal on an SM58. Even the rubber inside the clip is just there to make you think it's doing something but, it's not stopping a mic from sliding right out. There sre similarly priced mic stands, get one of those or get one from a music shop or pawn shop or a thrift store, anywhere but this junk listing if you want a mic stand that wasn't made specifically lie to you about its ability to stay in place

Can take a beating
Not literally...just saying. Bought this in December 2023 and I've used the heck out of it for themed karaoke parties, going away parties, and just regular ole gatherings. I'd say more than 100 people have had their hands on this thing...and there may or may not have been alcohol involved. I wasn't surprised that the 2 springs, housed in the clip which holds the microphone in place, popped out. What did surprise me was the ease with which I contacted the manufacturer and their response time. All I asked for were the two springs. I figured I could fix it myself seeing as I know it was my fault. But they sent me a brand new clip within just a few days time!!! I love this mic stand. I bought it specifically to have fun with my friends and family. But if you're a serious singer and have no plans to share your equipment then buy this mic stand. it's resilient, the base is super heavy. The whole thing is just sturdy. And of course, the great customer support is also good incentive.

Very solid stands, I tend to lean into my stands a lot so these hold me pretty well. Light enough to move with me, heavy enough to not send me flying! Very easy to set up, and easy to tighten even with reduced grip strength. They are definitely amazing value, so much so I’ve actually bought two (one for me one as a gift) and they are height adjustable!
