LUMENSHOOTER S3 365nm UV Flashlight with 3 LEDs

I have gone through so many different UV lights, if you do not have one and would like to get one because it sounds cool, this is my recommendation. This light works great and comes with a rechargeable battery! Also!!!!!!! If you have never owned a UV light before and you get curious about your home. DO NOT USE IT IN YOUR BATHROOM, TEENAGERS ROOM, OR KITCHEN!!!!!! You will never get those deep grease stains behind your stove, you're only going to hurt your own feelings please dont use them in your home!! Unless youre looking for where that cat pee smell is, just be careful where you aim it. However, i digress. This light works great! The light focuses into a tighter beam than most other lights do giving a much better reaction when in use. Perfect size for a backpack or pocket and is designed well much like a normal flashlight. Versatile if youre looking for pet stains, beach walks, nature adventures. This light is worth it!

Great for searching out hornworms on tomato plants! In our zone, mid to late July is when we have to start looking. So far this year this light has ended over 20 hornworms already. That really saves the season, has a huge impact on harvest. I use the batteries from other flashlights because I don’t really care for the charger that comes with it. But if this is the only one you have with this style battery, it’s totally adequate. I happen to have a few that I prefer already. Overall, very happy. One charge will last the bulk of the tomato season. It also works well for stain inspections. A year later, and I’m buying another for a friend.

My experience with this UV flashlight has been awesome. The three 365nm LEDs produce an incredibly bright and powerful beam, and the battery lasts a long time between charges. Instead of disposable household batteries, it uses an included rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery and supports USB-C charging. I especially appreciate that the battery and charger were included, so it was ready to use without buying anything extra. I’ve found many uses for it, but one of my favorites is taking it to thrift stores to inspect secondhand items. It can make linen stains, pet stains, residue, and other things stand out that may not be visible under regular lighting. It is powerful, convenient, and much more versatile than I initially expected.

I absolutely love this light, it works perfect for looking at my rocks. It's got a nice rechargeable battery. The size is good not too big not too small

I bought this primarily for finding messes from my cat as well as general cleaning. It seems almost too bright. I have to look on the edges of the beam. to clearly see anything. It's amazing what this reveals. Overall I like it. I just with it had an onboard battery meter and the ability to charge without removing the battery.

Works great for yooperlite hunting

When I was a kid, I learned the joys of rockhounding and scorpion hunting using portable, battery-powered fluorescent black lights. They were the best tool for the job at the time, since the only other options were incandescent flashlights with Wood's glass (UV bandpass filters), which just plain don't work, since incandescent lights produce almost no UV radiation. Fast forward <mumbles> years, and I recently ordered this Lumenshooter S3 flashlight after reading reviews, watching comparison videos, and otherwise researching the best bang-for-the-buck UV torches. Some of the reviews here on Amazon state that it gives off too much visible light. Either the reviewers are able to see UV light better than most, or what they're seeing is fluorescence. Because, let me tell ya, this thing puts out a LOT of light, but almost none of it is visible. If you look directly at it (which I don't recommend doing, at least not without glasses that block UV light), it looks like three very dim purple LEDs. However, you'll also immediately feel the heat on your face from it, which is much more likely the interaction of the UV light with your physiology than actual radiant heat. However, since it's longer-wave UVA, it's not likely to cause any real harm in short bursts. When I point it at ceramic tiles in a pitch-dark room, the tiles themselves stay very dark, almost black, while grout between the tiles and any substances on the surface of the tiles glow very brightly. This means almost all of the light coming from the flashlight is fully in the invisible UV spectrum. Even fluorescent blacklights give off more visible light than this torch. I've been able to see things fluoresce that I never have before, things I didn't even think could. This might be why some folks thing it gives off a lot of visible light. It's strange to see so many things glow so brightly when not even fluorescent black lights have made them light up like that. About the only drawback so far I've seen with this light is that it only takes one 18650 battery, and even though such batteries have decent capacity, you'll still want to keep at least one or two spares on you if you want to venture out for an evening of rock hunting. But, for half the price of the UV Beast flashlight, it's not at all a bad compromise. Get one, and have fun discovering just how gross your bathroom really is. Then, you can feel even more grateful for immune systems.

These are great. I have found so many treasure walking the beach at night. Beware though, the bugs LOVE it too. A little bug spray before heading out helps. It’s water proof and had a pretty strong beam of light so you don’t have to bend over the entire time your rock hunting. My husband kept taking mine so I got a second one just for him.

It is a uv light. Throws the beam pretty far. As the other reviews have stated do yourself a favour and don't shine it on your walls and counters haha you'll see things that you can't unsee and feel very unclean

I did get this for another purpose BUT I’ve been using it on my nails to cure them with the LEad gel and the time is cut in half because the strength is a lot stronger. I gave my other LED lamp to a friend and just use this when needed.

It feels well built, is rechargeable, compact, and easy to carry in a camera bag. The three LEDs provide good illumination, although at very close distances the beam can be slightly uneven. Overall, a very useful and fun tool for experimenting with UV fluorescence macro photography. Recommended for macro photographers looking to explore something different.

Very high quality UV light. The UV wavelength is perfect for identifying minerals, very good quality. The lamp body is very tough and comfortable to hold. Highly recommend this item. I have bought 4 of these as gifts for friends.

Works as well as I hoped. Finds all sorts is gross stuff in the house. Bright enough to use outside at night.
