The inlet and outlet ports leak no matter how much ptfe tape or thread sealant used.** A: I put an O-ring (# 18) inside each port before the brass bushing. Then I coated the threads with sealant and 10 wraps of teflon tape. I think there may be a design flaw, it shouldn't be that difficult. **Q: The filter housing leaks profusely. i checked the o-ring/tested it without a filter to no avail. anyone had this problem and been able to fix it?** A: Try to lube the o-ring with some coconut oil or silicone lube and reassemble. Also, if you are using carbon filters, I have seen that sometimes they are just a bit too tall, and so removing one of the gaskets allows the tank to be tightened a bit further, causing a seal.
