I misunderstood the description and thought this was a "standard" rubber-bladed squeegee. Instead, the blade is thick foam folded into a double layer. I initially planned to return the product, but then thought that instead of being wasteful, I should test it. I poured water from a clean kitchen pitcher onto the garage floor, which had a brand-new polyurea chip coating. I used the squeegee to push the water out of the garage. I am glad I tried it - it worked beautifully for my purpose. It removed all standing water; it did NOT get the garage floor bone-dry, but that was not my intent. The garage floor was made in 1964; it has high and low spots, and the chip coating has a slight texture to prevent slipping. It would be very difficult to get it bone-dry. I just wanted to be able to PUSH excess water off the floor, and the squeegee did that very well. And it is EXTREMELY light in weight; I am a very small person, so that is a big benefit for me.Having decided to keep it, I attached the handle. It is a lightweight but sturdy metal handle with a foam end grip. It screws into the blade, and then a collar on the blade screws up around the connection - very sturdy. The extension mechanism does not just twist to lock - there is a collar with a tab that locks it - much better, IMHO. I then tried pushing dry leaves off the dry floor - worked great. It did make a slight "scrubbing" sound on my floor, but no annoying squeaking noises. Finally, I tried pushing WET pine needles off the floor, the ultimate test, which it did adequately. Some pine needles did get stuck in between the halves of the foam blade; I simply ran my finger down the center between the two halves of foam and removed the needles easily. I then pushed a little more water with the squeegee, and the foam blade came completely clean.I rate this squeegee 5 stars. My sole complaint is that I could not see from the photos what "dual foam eva" meant. However, I am really glad I tested it, as it will suit my purpose very well. If you need your floor bone-dry, I am not sure it will be able to do that, and I don't know how well the foam will hold up, but the price was extremely reasonable compared to many other squeegees, and it has many excellent features.

I’ve used this squeegee for 5 weeks about six times a day over a coarse grainy patio surface to squeegee water that’s been left over after using a high pressure water gun. The water was used to wash off my dog’s urine. The squeegee held up and there was no damage from the scrubbing. It worked better than I thought it would. Very good product.

Very sturdy and a great value. I use in my shower- but doesn’t work well on uneven surfaces. The squeege part is stiff and isn’t form fitting. Easy to use in my garage floor tho :)

We first got this squeegee a long time ago to help us keep our balcony from flooding when it rains heavily. It worked super well for a long time but eventually we noticed the blade fell off. We figured we had had it for a while and it was probably just old and needed replaced. So we bought a new one but within 3 months same thing has already happened again. It sucks since we really liked it and it’s helped a lot. But while replacing every couple years is fine, I just can’t justify replacing as often as every few months :(

Wir verwenden den Bodenwischer für das Abziehen von Restwasser nach dem Duschen und sind sehr zufrieden. Keine komischen Geräusche, er funktioniert sehr präzise, nichts wackelt und alles ist stabil. Am besten funktioniert er, wenn man das Wasser damit „zieht“, also nicht „schiebt“. Im Baumarkt haben wir leider nichts vergleichbares gefunden und sind deswegen froh, hier auf Amazon fündig geworden zu sein.Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Farbe könnte schöner sein. Für unser Bad würde ich mir den Abzieher in Weiß-Bronze oder Beige wünschen anstatt in Schwarz-Gelb, aber das ist zu vernachlässigen

I use this to clean my dog kennels. It does a good job but best if you push the water away from you. Light weight, strong and adjustable. Removes water well
