This is a very neat little system. Having tried to put wires in a vehicle, this setup with its wireless camera seemed a great idea - and it is. The box comes with a useful choice of connector options and even more heplful, a way to very simply test things are working directly in the vehicle using the cigarette-lighter socket. Having proved it works, installation was not difficult but does require carefully checking you have the correct positive and negative wires. Clip connectors allow joining to existing wires with only a pair of pliers needed. I installed in a van and wanted an always-on system, so I connected into the number-plate light which I always keep on. Adjusted setting to remove the reversing grid-lines since they are not so critical for me. Result - power on, Monitor powered from the cigarette-lighter output - bingo! Image just there! Monitor not too big, not too small. Positioned on the dash in easy view. Good rear-view of the road and invaluable reversing aid. I am very happy. Definitely recommend this. Good image on the Monitor night and day. Other points - manual seems to cover everything adequately. The Monitor attaches to the support using a magnet which makes for easy removal if you don't want the thing visible when you leave your vehicle. A few things could be improved...(1) the monitor brightness really needs to be adjusted for night or day driving. It would be great to have a sensor which automatically controlled the monitor brightness. (2) the camera power connector is a bit big and requires drilling quite a large hole or routing the wire under some other fixture which is untidy. A slimmer power connector would be an improvement. (3) driving at night, glare from vehicle headlights behind can swamp the Monitor image a bit. Overall - a good purchase and a useful system. Definitely improves driving safety by giving a clear rear-view. Final comment - I will be changing the Monitor setup so it does not use the cigarette adapter, instead hardwiring it. The system is so useful - I want it this way. The kit comes with enough connector options to allow this.

I have to admit, when I was purchasing this item I was very sceptical. I wanted it to work so much that I believed something would not meet my expectations about it. To my surprise I was so wrong. Its brilliant! I bought it to use in my 8 wheeler tipper I drive, the picture is clear as day, doesn't loose signal, it stays strong! It is easy to install and even provides you with everything you need to test run it and fully install. Fantastic! Even the company I work for in transport is impressed by it. I definitely recommend!

Delivery overnight. What more can you ask for. Installation simple but you need to read the instructions properly. A few buttons to press to configure. Item well constructed mainly in plastic, just what you need on our salty winter roads. Bottom line… well worth the money.

i really like these bits of kit. i didn't want to get a "wired" reversing camera depite some of them having an "activation" wire that switches on a bright reversing LED. i got two of them (one screen spare), one goes on the tow hitch, the other i will plug into a 12v battery and simply duct-tape the second one onto the caravan's rear window. now i not only have visibility on the caravan but when hitching up i can see the hitch coming up, so don't smack the numberplate except on purpose. the downside: no electrical way to stop the reversing LEDs from coming on at night, unless you wire the camera into the car's reversing lamp, like it SAYS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS! i am slightly stunned and definitely amused that some reviewers complain about this when it is quite clear in the instructions. like one other reviewer i am using this "out of scope" i.e. as a "rear view" camera so am quite happy given the price to bodge things say with a little LED taped right in front of the optical sensor (bottom of the ring of LEDs) so that it thinks it is always daytime, or just duct-tape over the damn LEDs. the only other downside is the brightness of the LCD at night, but this is because of my eyes. a glaring LCD on a black road at night: no good. fortunately there is a thing called "a power switch"? or i can just get a polarising filter to put in front of the LCD. actual quality is pretty damn good. switch it on, it just works. pre-paired out the box. second camera paired up great. instructions in the manual are worth reading in full. you can tell i am an engineer. i would greatly love the option to buy more cameras.

Great little camera, I bought it to help me with hitching up the trailer on my own as my truck has a back on so no view out the rear window. Pictures great and I can reverse the tow ball straight to the hitch up with no faffing and no having to drag the trailer this way or that. Also use it as a rear view mirror when not towing. Very easy to install without the need for wires all over the place. I have mine connected to the side lights so just switch them on and I’m good to go, you could also connect to the reversing lights if you just wanted it on while reversing.

Bought this product and it was great. Camera has gone faulty and still under warranty and they won’t send a replacement camera the smallest part.

This is a good quality product, easy to install with a clear, step by step manual. The picture quality night and day is second to none. (Picture was taken at night and as you can see it's bright and clear) it offers a on and off switch so you don't need the monitor on all the time. Really happy with this product and definitely would recommend to anyone
