I do enjoy mine. - I enjoy it's soft small head for maneuvering around teeth and gums. Especially those back molars. What's wise about those teeth? I enjoy it's quiet effectual cleaning that is unlike any other tooth brush. I enjoy it's size and long run on a single triple A battery. It makes a very good travel companion. It doesn't even require toothpaste. But you CAN use it any way!! I prefer without toothpaste or with mouth wash. But don't throw out that Aurally 'B' Bumble 50,000. But I enjoy that it is made in China to the Japanese quality standards, as do the Japanese themselves! Find and read their reviews. This handle can be much cheaper from Japan. Having used this toothbrush for a month and a half, including two weeks of vacation, I do not understand how these seemingly calmly serene Japanese break the handles?!? Seek and read the reviews. For me, it is a wholly Five Star Experience. Save for the dismal experience of posting desertcart reviews. ZERO STARS!!! After paying desertcart for product, I owe them nothing more, as it is with you, yourselves. If an entity wanted to encourage customers to post product reviews for the benefit of their sales and profits, they would correct and instruct or teach how to. At least I would think so. It is a poor product experience when your fiery enthusiasm for your purchase has cold buckets of water drowning your enthusiastic reviews to share your good experience with others. If it happens enough!!?? Well then why share your enthusiasm here? Maybe one should also patronize other vendors who recognize and value customers for their loyalty and hard earned money. I believe this to be true. A FIVE STAR TOOTHBRUSH!!! Review: Mind changer - I gave a whirl, loved it. I am 50 and have never had a cavity, so I was reluctant. I won’t go back to a standard toothbrush. Also cleaning your tongue became effortless. Get one.

I'm so happy when a product exceeds my expectations
I bought this travel size to give the product a try at a cheaper price. What I got was a travel toothbrush that I already don't want to go without after just a few days of use. I love that I can clean my teeth without toothpaste with this. I still like to use mouthwash but it really does clean very well with or without toothpaste. Plus I can easily take this with me discreetly. If it was good I was going to buy a full size model but this one works just great. I'll get the bigger one if this one ever needs to be replaced. I feel like I need to add that so many of the products that I try that are made in Japan are the best quality I have ever experienced. I highly respect the work ethic put into these products. I get a sense of pride in craftsmanship when I use this and other products out of Japan. The industry leaders have a great deal to be praised for. I'm looking forward to better oral health and over all well being thanks to the care and skill that went into developing this product. If it continues to work as well for me then they have earned a lifetime loyal customer.

one problem only, the rest is a great device!
First the things I love: 1. Amazing level of clean! it is true, it's like a dental cleaning, plaque be gone! 2. I love the closed cap so it keeps the brush clean, just use a towel to dry it. 3. Compact size and nice to travel with. What I hate: - Battery life sucks, if I leave the battery lid closed overnight the battery drains, I lost 4 batteries already because at first I didn't know and then when I discovered it and sometimes forgot! even energizer is lost! I wish they can make a rechargeable battery connection and i wish they would make a better switch that really turns it OFF without draining the battery! Please fix it! Thank you for the great product, I would give 5 stars if the battery would not drain in the OFF position.

Multiple units failed, design is flawed
Update 2: Another one has failed the same way everyone here talks about. It started randomly shutting down after a few weeks. New battery makes no difference. They cannot handle wetness—design flaw for a toothbrush! Update: I reduced the rating because the longevity of the toothbrush is limited. Water enters the electronics and it ruins the brush. I contacted the manufacturer and they were unwilling to do anything since it was outside of the one year warranty. When I spend $40 on a toothbrush that is battery powered, I expect it to last longer than a year. Original review: We have been using the manual ionic toothbrushes for years. The benefits of the ionic system is clear to us. But on a recent trip I forgot my ionic toothbrush and had to use a conventional one, which is horrible after getting used to ionic. So I went to order one overnight from Amazon, but they only had the new electric one. I didn’t want that but it was my only choice. Well…let me tell you. This electric one is far superior to the manual version. The vibrations are as good as a sonic care, the beeps are helpful to time the brushing, and the shape is easy to hold and brush with precisely. Using it twice a day now (4 mins per day) it’s still on the original AAA battery after 2 months. BTW the battery they provide is a Japanese Panasonic, not some cheap no-name. This says something about the company. And when the battery does eventually fail, I will swap it out with another good one. Since it lasts months, I really don’t see the point of the rechargeable one in terms of convenience (environmental issues aside). Another advantage vs. the manual version is that the battery that is replaceable also controls the ion function. The manual ones have a fixed non-replaceable battery for the ionic function and therefore have a limited lifespan. With this one, all you have to do is swap the battery. One tip…every week take off the head and clean the metal probe underneath it. This will ensure the ionic “pull” works properly on plaque. Overall, this turned out to be an accidental and excellent upgrade from the manual one. It cleans the teeth even better than the old one. We are getting another soon and not going back to the manual version.

Really good
I love this toothbrush. It's a little short on the handle though. I had one of these 20 years ago that I bought from a home shopping network that worked great. I have a small mouth and I love the small soft brush head. You have to remember to keep your fingers wet and on the metal part of the handle for it to work. I've had no issues with the batteries draining or anything. My mouth has never felt more clean.

Great for travel
I thought it was humorous that folks might complain about the fact this is a small toothbrush. That is *exactly* why I wanted it! It is very portable. No way am I going to pack a full-sized sonic toothbrush and charging stand. I have medium sized hands (f) and have no trouble holding it at all. It does a good job of cleaning - maybe not as intense as a Sonicare, but does polish teeth very well. I did not like the way it stops on a cycle to remind people to move it to a different section. I don't need help deciding when to move my toothbrush and it is annoying. I wish we could turn that 'feature' off like we can on a Sonicare. The battery charge lasts for quite a while and the batteries are easy to change. The brush heads are also easy to change - just pull straight out away from the toothbrush body. There's a small rod that it slides off and on to that comes out of the body of the toothbrush, so don't bend as you pull. It has extra brush heads you can buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/IONPA-DM-Replacement-Brush-Head/dp/B07PR9F359 All in all, it is a very portable electric toothbrush that works well.

Very clean teeth and tight gums
I decided to trial this brush for a month before I wrote a review to determine it’s effectiveness. I was a little skeptical about the effectiveness of this toothbrush when I read the reviews on it. I used a Rotadent for about 15 or more years, and loved it, until the company was purchased by Zika, the battery life and power went way down. I don’t like Sonicare at all because I didn’t feel like it cleaned my teeth well. I also used an OralB electric toothbrush and didn’t feel it cleaned the tarter off the base of my teeth. For the past 6 years I’ve had neck problems, and osteoarthritis in fingers and hands, making it challenging at times to brush my teeth effectively. I didn’t see my dentist or hygienist during and after the pandemic for 1 1/2 years, and my dental health went downhill, resulting in numerous cavities at the gum line. My hygienist recommended an ionic toothbrush after my last visit, and I began doing some research. I chose this Ionic Kiss because of it’s features. It is small, fitting well in my hand, and cleans very well at the gum line. The brush head is small, enabling thorough cleansing of the backs of the most posterior teeth. It doesn’t cause my neck and arm fatigue and pain as opposed to a manual toothbrush. My teeth feel very clean, and a couple of places that have issues with pocketing are very much improved. It’s small for traveling. I love this toothbrush. There is nothing that I don’t like about it.

Two thumbs up for this toothbrush
This brush replaced another type of ion toothbrush which fell out of my hands and broke on the floor. While I had been happy using the other having finally replaced it with a battery operated device, and this one in particular, I am astounded at the difference in whiteness of my teeth. I noticed this after about a week of use and only because I had been missing two teeth. Upon close examination with a magnifier mirror, there was the evidence plain and clear. This toothbrush whitens teeth. And with the 30 second timer, I am guided to brush each quadrant long enough to be effective. Two thumbs up for this product.

Stopped working after 3 weeks. Manufacturer doesn't back their product.
Purchased in January 2024, received in February. Bought to take on a foreign holiday in March. Toothbrush stopped turning on when switch pressed but would turn itself on at random times while sitting in a glass in the bathroom and would not turn off unless battery was disconnected. Contacted Ionpa, but they would not honor the warranty because I hadn't bought it from them directly. Can't find how to connect with the seller. Perhaps this review will do it.
