They use better adhesive than the others brands (wiping the surface to be applied with a slightly moist cloth prior to install is recommended for best adhesion). Just to be safe, they provide 10 screw fasteners. The App is handy for "Wake" mode as a sunrise alarm, but the remote is also very useful as well saving you the hassle of fishing out and unlocking your phone. Using the "raise" or "lower" intensity remote buttons ALSO controls the LED's behavior with the 4 Static Modes, AND the mic's sensitivity level in the 4 Music Modes. I recently installed their 82 foot product in my living room, lit 'em up at night on Music Mode, and my next door neighbor thought there was on fire in my living room! I went outside to have a look, and my house was aglow (even with my blinds shut). The LED's brightness is intense and easily bleeds through blinds and shutters. So if you have nosy neighbors, these LED's will drive 'em crazy with wonder and envy FYI... Overall: My LED lighting strips serve now as my primary source of illumination. I am VERY satisfied with this product---FUN TIP: if installed in a living space with a TV and sound system, set it to Music Mode 3 (I think---or 4), turn the mic sensitivity way down, watch an action/thriller movie, and your room lights up wildly ONLY during the sounds of gunfire, explosions, car crashes, fist fights, etc. Definitely adds to the action/thriller movie experience! MORE IMPORTANTLY: Micomlan's Customer Service is the best I've encountered during my 20 years of using desertcart. If you have a problem with their product, AND I mean ANY problems whatsoever, they will resolve it and exceed your wildest expectations in the process. In short: Purchase with Confidence! NOTE: When contacting/emailing Micomlan's customer service use an attention-grabbing subject heading, as your email my get relegated to their spam folder. HAVE FUN! Review: Great lights and better customer service! - My daughter received these lights for Christmas, and upon putting them up we found that the second string only lit up the first few lights. We contacted the manufacturer and they immediately promised to send out a new string with very few questions asked. We got the new string the next day! The lights look great, they are easy for my 13 yr old to control, she loves them, and the customer service was great. I highly recommend this seller. ## Features - 【82FT APP Control Kit 】Download the app "Ehome Light"(Available on Google Play and iOS App Store) ， ①APP control: 16 million colors, 22 dynamic modes, music and mic functions, the brightness and speed of led strip light can be controlled through the phone app ② 20-key 4 music mode can be set. Can both sections be connected together to make one 82' strip?** A: Yes!! Ignore the other answers that say you can’t. I had to look up a YouTube tutorial because the instructions weren’t clear but basically you cut the second strip and connect it to the first one using the included plastic connector piece. Make sure both strips are properly lined up and they will connect seamlessly. **Q: Are these indoor &outdoor?** A: No they are for indoor use they are not water proof **Q: can you extend the lights more that 82ft?** A: Instructions aren't very clear. They are 2, 41 ft rolls. The light controller has two outputs. As to be in the middle of the 82 ft span. If you choose to run more than 41 ft per strip you will loose brightness as resistance through the strip increases. If you need to extend further. Add another kit or look into end power injection. **Q: what if i do not have Bluetooth? will it still work?** A: Yes. you also can use a remote to control the lights. Bluetooth is needed for the app. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE BUSINESS!!! *by A***R on August 31, 2020* *REAL PERSON REVIEW from Idaho (NO, you da ho!)* Micomlan LED's are the Best Price & Value for indoor LED's on the market currently.
