Luomorgo Refrigerator Temp Control Freezer Thermostat WPF24-L

This thermostat was for a chest type freezer that quit getting cold. We were about to purchase a new one, but decided to see if it might be the thermostat. What a surprise to hear the compressor kick on. This product save us some money. Still working after three months.

UPDATE - HOW TO ADJUST-I had to search to find the direction to turn the screw so I put it here for convenience for others- and the simple directions. below I said that I didn't have to adjust but a couple of days later My fridge was freezing at the back and my freezer was several degrees sub zero F. The adjustment is simple - there is a small screw in a recession on the side of this thermostat. It will likely have a locking compound on the head. - You turn this screw clockwise to raise the temperature, counterclockwise to lower it. It may take a couple of tries to get it just right- and don't be afraid to turn it 1/2 or full revolution if you are way out of range.- but again 8$ compared to a new fridge- or a stock thermostat thatsy need the same adjustment? My refrigerator stopped kicking the compressor on. I jumped out the thermostat and it started again and ran for a bit but then once reaching temperature it didn't lock back on and this time jumping the compressor worked but only as long as I had it jumpered. A stock thermostat was 40$ plus and shipping. This was 8$ and free ship so I took a chance. (Meantime I just jumped out the thermostat and ran my fridge a few hours a day, and limited opening the doors, keeping readings with a temperature gun). This came and the only thing was that I had not fully removed the old one and found that the lead for the sensor on thos one was three times the length of the old one- luckily there was room inside the casing that I could wind it up- (NOTE -if you need to do this as well, be sure to either use shrink tube or a good tape to wrap whatever amount that will not be in the capillary tube, to avoid it shorting to ground or the other connections). It fot right and mounted easily. I set the thermostat dial and it has kept the right range le the original. Another note- if you install this and it does keeps too cold or too warm, there is a small screw adjustment on it to remedy that. Well worth the 8$ .

This was a great replacement & an exact fit to the OEM thermostat that went bad in the NovaKool fridge/freezer combo in my RV, and a third of the price from what the manufacturer quoted. Installation was a breeze. The calibration was a tad different than the original, but only took one small adjustment to the temperature dial and good as new. Highly recommend!

So far it is doing a great job.

Perfect fit for the temperature control relay that is no longer in manufacture from Haier. Set to -10F and it cycles on at 10F. Same range as the original but without sticking and ruining the food. I also installed a separate 12V sensor to the house alarm to let me know if it sticks and comes back on at a higher temperature. Small cost to ensure you don't lose a freezer full of food.

Was sent a thermostat that was different from what was in description and pictured. I received a unit that mounts via 2 screws, one without the nut. Would not work in my application. I tried to see if the screw mount would work but it would not, screw spacing was too wide mount & would not fit into allotted space.

My neighbor asked if I could pick up apartment size fridge from their place and have recycled, it keep freezing everything even though it was all the way lowest temp. They have already purchased a new one. I went on Amazon and ordered a new temp control. Very easy to remove and replace.. works great. Be sure to unplug before working on it. Oh yea, light bulb was burned out. Ordered a LED bulb from Amazon to replace burnt out one.. 👍🏼👍🏼
