## Overview

HIC Harold Import Co.'s set of four 8.5-inch clear pressed glass corn dishes offers a sturdy, elegant solution for serving corn on the cob. Their deep, curved shape securely holds large ears and traps melted butter, preventing messes and rolling. Dishwasher safe and versatile, these dishes enhance any meal with both function and style.

## Description

HIC’s Corn Dishes serve up delicious and sweet corn on the cob. The deeply curved shape securely cradles each delicious ear of corn, even substantially sized ears, and prevents them from rolling away. The larger capacity allows ample room for rolling each ear in warm, melted butter while containing the buttery mess. And, using separate serving dishes make it easy to enjoy fresh sweet corn without sogging up other foods on the dinner plate. Made from pressed glass, HIC’s Corn Dishes are sturdy and durable, decorative and functional. Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Set of 4.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these stack? One reviewer stated that they do not nest together well for storage. Thank you!**
A: Yes, they stack just fine. These dishes, do not "nest" like cereal bowls, but they do stack. I bought these for my husband a few years ago & we love them. They are made well, shipped fast and have help up, money well spent in my opinion.

**Q: How many in an order?**
A: I only received one when I ordered this. I’m sending it back. I can buy these at goodwill WAY cheaper.

**Q: What are the 4 little pieces of plastic corn shown in the picture for?**
A: Hi, the manufacturer is simply using the plastic corn in some photos as a prop to confirm that these dishes are to be used with corn on the cob. Other photos and the video will display the actual ear of corn. Thanks!

**Q: What is the interior length (how long can ear of corn be & still fit inside them)?**
A: Hi, it is 2.25" wide x 8.5" long inside measurements. They great for side corn, sauces, dips, etc. If you would like a BIGGER 6.7" x 3.6" inside dip chiller bowl, it is here:

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hermoso y práctico
*by P***Y on 17 January 2026*

Hermosos, hechos de vidrio grueso. Así la mantequilla se queda en el elote, en vez de extenderse por un plato plano. Para los amantes del elote tierno, vale la pena.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ standard, fonctionnel
*by I***T on 19 July 2024*

Rien à dire, c'est fonctionnel. Mais les maïs ne doivent pas être trop gros. La taille est peut-être standard.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t buy fat forks for this product
*by M***S on 23 May 2021*

I prefer glass to plastic because it looks better and holds the heat longer. These holders work as promised as long as your corn forks are not too fat. For instance the Oxo good grips corn forks are too big around and because of this the corn doesn’t actually make contact with the butter in the bottom of the holder, and that is a very sad thing indeed! Ideally the holders should have deeper side grooves to work with all forks, not just skinny ones. These holders look much better than most and work well with thin forks. I recommend them.
