My DERMagic Experience
Hello all! First of all before I begin my review, I want whoever is reading this to first and foremost know this is MY experience with these products, and every dog’s body, condition and experience will be different. I just wanted to share how it worked for my pup. If you are struggling with this black skin desease or dry skin condition, I highly first recommend you get your dog tested for the following: a blood panel, urinalysis, thyroid testing and adrenal hormone testing. My vet also took some samples of my dogs dry skin to look under a microscope to see if there were any bacteria. I recommend this in order to rule out any other underlying conditions. Based on the results, the veterinarian will recommend treatment. Make sure you do a lot of research before treating your dog. Fortunately for me, all test results came back good and the vet recommended a mousse (which made my dog’s skin dryer and worse). So I took matters into my own hands and did research. I first used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Lotion every day on the BALD SPOTS of my dog and I used the DERMagic Skin Rescue Grooming Spitz on the rest of the body (make sure you spit the hair open so the spray gets onto the dogs skin). After I finished applying I would put on a jump suit and washable diaper on my dog so the product stayed on and wouldn’t rub off while getting on the bed, couches, floor, etc.I used “KOESON Dog Recovery Suit, Dog Onesie” and the diaper was from PetSmart “Top Paw washable diaper.” I would do it every night and in the mornings remove diaper and jumpsuit.Instead of washing my dog once a month I washed her every two weeks. The day before bath, I would cover the dry areas with coconut oil and put on her jumpsuit and diaper for the night. Use extra virgin, organic, cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil.The next day I would wash her using “TropiClean OxyMed Hypo-Allergenic Oatmeal shampoo” then using “DERMagic organic shampoo bar (Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil),” then I would use the “DERMagic Peppermint & Tea Tree Oil Conditioner.”In time her black skin was slowly disappearing and her bald spots was growing back hair. Once she grew out a lot of hair and it looks great, I would just use the spray twice a week and brush her hair out 1-2 times a week. I will continue to wash her twice a month and will be maintaining her coat in great shape. I noticed this condition started as soon as I neglected brushing her hair weekly and now using spray. What also helped was applying salmon oil every day into her diet. I used Zesty Pawls brand.Consistency and patience is key! I’m on month three now of this hard work and it definitely paid off!

Plain and simple, it worked.
I have a 4 year old Pom that has had black skin for 2.5 years. My beautiful little girl looked like she had mange. People were afraid to touch her she looked so bad.Other than to try steroids the vets said that there was nothing I could do for her. After reading reviews on the dermagic web site, I figured what the heck we will give it a try.Number 1, it STINKS.Number 2, it WORKS!Number 3, be patient. My lil girls black skin was very, very bad. Grease up your dog and put on a t shirt ( I used baby onesies and cut off the bottom), trust me you do not want this stuff all over your house. This takes months to complete but it does work. What I first noticed after 3 weeks or so was little dark globs stuck to her tufts of remaining fur. At first I thought she was picking up dirt because she was so greasy but then realized that it was the black skin sloughing off. For some reason she has been healing from the underside first, slowly working up to the spine, back of neck and tail. It has been 7 months and we are using about 1 large bottle of lotion a month.I will not quit until the black skin is all gone. People are amazed at the transformation. I myself could see it slowly working and people thought I was nuts. Now the joke is on them. I have even gotten apologizes from friends saying they thought I was insane using the snake oil on my doggie. After 7 months of treatment my darlin has fur everywhere but her spine and tail areas. For some reason that is the worst area. But once I see the little balls sloughing off in her fur I know that is the next area of healing. My baby is almost back to her beautiful self. Her new fur is soft and beautiful. This is no quick treatment. It is not a one bottle deal. It can take up to a year! The bottom line is, it plain ole works. It is natural and you are not pumping your dog full of drugs that may or may not work. Believe it or not the years treatment is cheaper than buying the steroids.I recommend using the bar shampoo, it is really nice. The conditioner is extremely hard to get out of the bottle, but use it.After a while you get used to the smell. When company comes over, they do look around a bit looking for THAT smell!Anyway, I do not usually give reviews, on this one I just had to. If you are willing to invest the time, it will work.
