Subterra Carry On Spinner

I'll have to admit, when I opened the package and saw the Subterra, I didn't have very high expectations. But I was wrong! This thing is awesome. I thought the compression plate was a gimmick, but it really helps to pack things down. And the wheels are great and roll very smoothly. I can literally push with one finger. If I could change one thing, it would be to put the button to collapse the handle on top of the handle instead of the sides. One the side, it catches on my eBags backpack when sliding it over the handle. Takes a little extra effort to get it off. But this bad is so much better than my old Samsonite I'm willing to live with it. Highly recommend!

Travel a lot, bought probably 3 suitcases in 5 years, and have been using this suitcase for the past 10 years and it still looks and functions like brand new. Like it so much I bought this one for my father in law. These have the rotating wheel which is a game changer for flying.

I purchased this spinner and some other Subterra pieces for recent trip with family. This was the first time we didn’t check bags using all carry ons and personal bags. This Subterra spinner was absolutely perfect with the Subterra convertible bag resting on top. Rolls smoothly and looks awesome.

This bag is kind of small for a carry on. Great looks and design arrived quickly. A wheel feel off in less than a year of ownership. I paid a lot for a quality product and it did not last or meet my expectations. Used about 10 times in a year.

The subterranean 21.7” carry on spinner is a small compact carry on luggage that packs a punch! Pros: 1. small/compact 2. Wheels roll smooth 3. Plenty of space 4. great build and design 5. Very durable Cons: 1. Material attracts dust like powder along zipper area (top side when standing upright) 2. No dedicated laptop pocket Measurement: 9 X 14 X 21.7” externally weight: 7.6lbs when empty. Volume: 33L Main material: 800D Nylon This 21.7” carry on luggage appears small visually when looking at it externally and internally. However , the design and use of an exoskeleton wrapped in nylon (front side, and poly carbonated back side)) gives it the appearance and reinforcement of a hard carry on luggage. (I’m 5’9” for reference when reading the following part as to thickness of clothings) While the interior appears small, I was able to pack 2 normal slacks and a jogger sweat, 5 T shirts, 4 pair of socks, 6 boxers, 1 sweater, 1 Calvin Klein medium bomber jacket, pair of gloves, a belt, a 1/4” thick fire proof file envelope , laptop, tablet, and electronic accessories pouch. That’s just in the main compartment. This is all made possible because of the compression board that is part of this luggage. (See pic) the design works really well and the compression board (more of a super stretch nylon around a frame) allow you to compress your clothes down. The compression board has a net zipper pocket (this is where I toss my tablet into). On the top side (I call it the lid.) there is a space about 3” x 12” x12”. Here I could easily store my shoes, but instead I store my over ear headphones including original retail box (2x8x8”) set of airpods (with original box, as well as a few other miscellaneous items. And I was able to close and zip up the luggage with no struggling or issues. The last zipper that is located on the outer most of the luggage (also known as the quick access pocket. I was able to store my huge powerbank, go pro (with waterproof housing on) electric shaver, keys, passport, checkbook. One thing I want to note is that this pocket while roomy in depth, it’s a very shallow pocket. The wheels rolls very smoothly and the luggage when fully pack does not tip over, even on regular carpet floors. It rolls nice on carpets or hard floors. This is a really awesome luggage and I highly recommend it !

Schlank, hochwertig, robust. Die interne Kompressionslösung ist spitze. Tipp: Schuhe, Wäsche etc. einpacken und komprimieren. Dann kann auf das Kompressionsgitter ein gut gefalteter Anzug gepackt werden der so relativ locker zwischen Gitter und Kofferdeckel liegt.

Top quality! turns many heads when you are at airports. Elegant and functional. I love it. Just Keep it tidy and clean and it looks amazing.
