Xbox One Chat Headset

Didn’t last for even a month. It will break within a week with normal usage that too if you are lucky .

Very good chat quality and mic is good. Controls are useful. Though game audio is not a feature in this as it's a chat only headset.

After a month it stopped working

As described and very good for voice chat during palying games

ZERO STARS IF I COULD...! this is the FIFTH headset in two years and each with the same problem after a few months of use, either I couldn't hear my friends or they count hear me.just going on the reviews speak for themselves it is an terrible product which is very negative for Microsoft, the only plus side was of the two that failed Amazon duly replaced them very quickly, sadly the current headset has now failed outside go the returns deadline, I could return the product for a refund under the 1972 trade description policy but I simply can't be bothered and I don't want the product as its completely unreliable and complete rubbish.I have now on order a turtle beach headset which I'm expecting to outlast the original ones.

I've owned 6 of these since I got my Xbox one and all of them have broken. This product is the one thing I stupidly buy knowing that at one point it will break of its own accord and yet it still infuriates me when it finally does decide to do so. The most recent one I've owned has lasted maybe 6-7 months if I'm being generous. One of two things will usually happen, either the microphone will just stop working completely so you can hear people but they can't hear you (which is what has just happened to my latest one) or the opposite where you can't hear anyone but they can hear you. I am not even exaggerating when I say every single one I have owned has done either of these two things and I bet most people's who's have broke have had the same problems too. Of course they are built like a piece of wet paper and feel like the most cheap plastic ever , I would not recommend anyone buys this I wouldn't even waste your moneyEDIT: Caved and stupidly bought a new one reluctantly since was wanting to chat with friends, arrived broken. This was ok as a first time thing when the Xbox came out but now, nope.The cable that comes out from the adapter (the part that goes into the controller) is incredibly flimsy and would cut out unless you held it straight.Fast forward to 2020 and you seem to no longer get the adapter. As controllers now come with a jack for headsets.Please avoid.I have a Razer Kraken headset now which cost me £49.99 at time of purchase. Now down to £39.99. Go get that and you won’t be disappointed.Would not recommend

I tried mine with two controllers and two xbox's but couldn't get the mic to work? I looked online and this seems to be a normal issue with these headsets but for £9 I can't be bothered returning it. The headset sounds good when it works and mine recieves the other people but the mic is iffy.

I'm not one for full headsets as I like my game audio coming out of my sound system. My Xbox came with one of these and I liked how they fit, feel and sound so I got another, then like 2 or 3 more as they break easily if you are not careful with them. I dropped my controller while headset was on my head yanked the cable, after that mic stopped working. I've had other mishaps very similar what have broke the headset in the same way. I wish they were more durable but I digress, they are ok but don't expect them to last forever.
