Had a similar penetrating anchor that seemed to favor one side which of course, created problems. This baby is awesome!! Throw it in, no need to even reverse, unless needed, and it buries itself. Unless you are over the top of it, it’s tough to get out (sandy bottom, no weeds). No need to worry or even check, it couldn’t be any better. Note: 22 ft pontoon with 24mph wind

It's a fluke anchor at a very low price. Note that the shaft is pretty thick - I had to buy a larger D ring.

holds better than any other anchor ive tried and isnt overly heavy. 21' rinker runabout approx 5500lbs. i originally intended to use a chain with this anchor but i havent had one on it and honestly some times ive had trouble getting the anchor dislodged from the river bottom. highly recommend. we boat in mostly mud bottoms, kentucky lakes and rivers

Bought for my elderly dad to use with his fishing boat as his old one weighted 20lbs and was too difficult for him to pull up on his own. He cut this one down a bit to fit inside a seat compartment but he really likes it. Nice and easy to pull from bottom and holds well once set.
