Custom Jigsaw Puzzles from Photos 1000 500 300 Pieces Personalized Picture Puzzle for Adults Teens

The quality of the 1000 pc puzzle is very good. We had fun turning one of my day at the beach pics into a nice puzzle. It was also quite challenging to put together.In retrospect, I made two mistakes:1. I was using my phone and a mobile app to tweak the raw image. It turned out having too much contrast and needed to be softer. But, I wanted the detail to be clear and it was.2. You use the integral seller's Amazon interface to upload the image.. I should have used my desktop, as I fought with their app, doing it over an over.Alas, the assembled puzzle reveals the image is not square. It's off about 3 degrees at the top, creating a white margin that is wider on the upper left hand side. Annoying. Like a crooked picture on the wall.But, it's a limitation of their image grabbing software.I'd suggest editing the photo and uploading from a desktop using a full size monitor. Watch out for squareness of your image and their frame, and avoid overdoing the saturation and contrast, as when enlarged, too much contrast and oversaturation shows up.Still, we had a blast. A great b'day or holiday gift idea.256 pieces is too easy. 1000 is too hard, took days.

Just a few broken pieces, easily repaired with wood or super glue, but overall a great purchase! My 9 year old niece passed away a few months ago and i wanted to give my grandfather (who loves puzzles) a custom gift for christmas. I think this will turn out to be one of the greatest gifts i have ever given. 2,000 pieces took me 3 days (around 10 hours) to complete, no missing pieces, comes with dividers for the intelligently labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H pieces, a nice purple bag to store them all in, and a final printout of the picture in the size of the finished puzzle. The box looks like a real puzzle box and it’s not some cheap junk. A few more good notes would be the satisfaction with snapping the pieces together, wood smell, and the quality finish on the printed picture side. Overall a two thumbs up purchase perfect for those of us who love puzzles. I recommend 2,000 pieces for the more advanced, and that you choose a photo that has a lot of color variation, but the letters on the back of the pieces help with making sure everything is in its place. I cannot wait to wrap and present and give this to him, thank you so much!

Loved the poster it was very helpful! The letters were excellent I would have had a real mess without them as my husband and I were both dressed in all black hiking gear and the mountains were all granite with no greenery. Thank you for a beautiful puzzle!

Great purchase. Easy to find and quality better thanexpected.

This is a fun puzzle, but also frustrating. There's something like 5 puzzle shapes (it may be more than that, but each shape is repeated a lot) so you place a piece that fits but it's wrong.Still, you buy it for the photo, and that was reproduced well. It came in a small box with the pieces in a mesh bag. There are also two balsa wood strips but I don't know what those are for.

The 300 piece puzzle came in a small box with the picture I ordered on the top. Inside the pieces are contained in a nice mesh bag. There is a large poster size print of the puzzle folded inside. The quality of the poster is excellent. Clear bright colors. There are also two wooden pieces that can be fit together inside the box I assume for organizing the pieces. I am very pleased. I ordered for my daughters family who enjoy jigsaw puzzles so I’m certain they will love it.

Buyer beware, the shapes of the puzzle pieces are all nearly identical!! If your puzzle has a solid area like sky or snow it is nearly impossible to put together without variation in shape!! Also it is wood, pieces broke easily. So disappointed, this was for a family project. It is the first puzzle we have ever abandoned. Unfortunately it is past the return date. The photo and packaging are excellent.

The photo I submitted was high resolution, 20 megapixels so the sharpness of the print was just fine. The color was a bit off there was too much magenta. The person I gave it to didn't notice but as a photography nerd I did LOL. It was a great gift they were excited to piece it together. The picture I selected has some large same color areas (like blue sky or grey roads) it was very difficult to put these parts of the puzzle together because some of the pieces that don't go together fit together and the printed side all looks the same. I would recommend avoid using a picture that has large areas of similar color. As mentioned some of the pieces that did not go together fit together they would not fit together very well but good enough to wear you would think "yeah that's probably right". For whatever reason the pieces have letters labeled on the back which can sometimes help us identify if we've incorrectly connected two pieces but even then sometimes we can be tricked into thinking it's done correctly. So my only critique is that the pieces should have more variation in between them so we don't put the puzzle together incorrectly!! I purchased the 500 piece puzzle.
