I like this book a lot. It’s written comletly in latin so that you learn vocabulary from pictures from the context or you can look after it in a dictionary. It starts very easy and get more and more complex. At youtube you can find lessons with Scorpiomartianus who speaks latin fluently and is reading it for you so you learn how to pronounce correctly. Wish you a lot of fun and success with it.

This book is incredible. It takes you from zero Latin to reading extracts of poetry and ars grammatica using only Latin. Ørberg was a genius or a magician! Using the book of exercises (Exercitia book 1) alongside this book cements the grammar and vocabulary that you learn in small, digestible chunks. I am learning on my own having wanted to learn Latin for decades and absolutely love this approach.If only all language learning was like this...

The LLPSI method is indeed superb and needs no praise from me above what is written elsewhere. But be careful: it contains various supplements and extras. The core book for beginners is "Familia Romana". The one advertised here is "Grammatical Latina" which is simply a list of tables of verb conjugations and so on (as such it's basically like a 1950s textbook). It's also only 30 pages long. It's fine for what it is, but make sure you're buying the right thing as the volumes look very similar!

I bought this for my son because he likes learning languages. Very happy kid!

Als zusammenfassende Ergänzung, zusätzlich zum Lehrbuch in Ordnung. Grammatik aus dem Lehrbuch sehr knapp zusammengefasst. Ich bin zufrieden, es erspart mir teilweise eigene Notizen.Aber, wer ein Grammatik-Lehrbuch sucht, wäre mit diesem "Büchlein" vermutlich sehr enttäuscht.

Es un libro en el que se compendia la gramática latina en 32 páginas.Es muy completo y abarca lo necesario para poder empezar a conocer la gramática latina.
