Worked great easy to install

I read several reviews here that were concerned that the adhesive tape was already attached to the mounting bracket. Mine was also but since the package was sealed I'm sure it was not because it was returned. Also many people said they had problems where the unit would not stay attached to the mount. Part of the problem is because the chrome surface is very slippery and difficult to install with bare hands. My secret was to use a rubber bottle opener. This is normally thin and disc-shaped and works perfectly with no damage. Your can actually hear and feel when the cover clicks into place.

I got this to use with a shower chair. It offers 2 mounting options: screw on, or double-sided 3M tape. I chose the later because I didn’t want to drill though the fiberglass surround. Prior to installing, I read the reviews and recognized that the tape mounting tended to fail. Being the person to learn from others mistakes, I ensured that I thoroughly cleaned the mounting surface twice with bathroom cleaner. Then I followed up with multiple cleanings with isopropyl alcohol, and let it dry. I followed the instructions to a T, making sure to keep the area dry for 24 hours. After one month, no issues... now after about 2 months, I’m noticing the unit starting to pull away from the wall. So I ordered more double-sided tape (gorilla) and I’m going to give it another shot. Other than the mounting tape, I’m glad I bought this item.

I was able to get it to stick to the the tile wall without any problems however, the dock keeps falling off the mount which is rendering the whole thing useless. Too late to take it back. Came to update my review, It’s only right. I realized that I was not putting it on the shower wall correctly, meaning not enough force to create the suction it needed to stick. Once I fixed that, it’s been sticking up there every since, with no problems.

So the directions tell you to take the clear film off the The adhesive tape and attach to the bracket then take the red adhesive off and attach to wall. The adhesive was already attached to the bracket so I may have gotten a return, here’s hoping the adhesive stays and I won’t have issues. Besides the adhesive issue, the bracket looks good and has a strong magnet

The glue/tape patch doesn't really work well. Maybe the showerhead was too heavy. maybe the constant water weakens it. No matter what the reason is, I would not buy it because it does not stay in place.

I have the Moen magnetix handheld shower wand and bought the dock as an added convenience. When a hair wash is not part of my quick daily shower, the dock, secured at a lower level, is the perfect place to rest the showerhead without turning the water off to avoid getting my hair wet. We have had to re-secure the dock using gorilla tape as over time, it became loose. Not an issue though, the tape works well to secure the dock back onto the molded shower wall. The magnetic dock is strong and the original tape did not last more than a year but the gorilla tape works great.

We bought this item last year for our kid’s bathroom, I thought this would only last for a couple of weeks since it’s using 3M adhesive, but a year later the magnetix is holding well on the wall! My child grew up so I need a higher attachment for the shower, since this item has proven that it will hold well, we bought a 2nd one haha. I highly recommend this!

Once I attached the shower handle thing to the device, it fell off in one day. Tried Gorilla tape as some had suggested. Same thing. Tried Gorilla Construction glue and then used silicone caulking around. Knock on wood a few days holding. Hope it remains stuck on shower wall. Good product if you can get it to stick on the wall.

Due to unforeseen health issues I had to install this magnetic shower holder next to my faucets in the tub/shower combo. I no longer have to stand to hang the shower head back on the holder. It's a much safer alternative. The magnetic holder is very firm and it sticks to the tile very securely. I'm very happy with this purchase.
