These files are on the coarser side, but I love them. I've been trying to treat my nails so they can grow properly and these do the trick. I would not recommend them for polishing, but for filing and shaping for sure. Everything Tweezerman that I bought has been great quality.

LOVE these nail files...won't buy any other brand. A little more expensive but worth it.

These are the only nail files that I find last a long time and work perfectly without being too rough or the paper tearing off like some of the lower price files.
