Solid steel clasp is a bit difficult to work because of how thick the metal is. The diameter of the key ring loops is one of the thickest that I have seen at perhaps a bit over 1/16 inch or 1.5mm. In fact I cant use it because the digitizer pen cap I planned to attach has too narrow of a keyhole, but a normal keyring just barely fit. Not taking any stars off for that. One other thing to note, you will want to attach it to a thick belt. It will slide off of a belt loop because the thickness of the steel acts like a spring. You can fold the clasp flush but it just springs back into shape with maybe a 3 to 4mm gap. Again I'm not deducting stars. It says heavy duty and it means it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Key Ring *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 27, 2015* Was just what I was looking for. The clip is a bit tight but I'm sure it will be easier to get the key ring in as the product "breaks in" I wanted something that would clip to the top of my belt that way I can take it off and hang it with my keys once I get home. Other products have the belt go through them which means that I would have to have it separate from my keys and then remember to put it on while putting on my belt. It holds tight to my leather belt and to my canvas belt. The Keys don't hang as low as with my old clip; which means they don't jingle as much, and they don't get sat on as much. It only took a few times on and off to get used to the operation of the clip. When putting the ring on it has a very solid click, that leaves no doubt that it is attached. Can't beat the price.
