Review: Durable & Comfortable - Best pair of shoes I've owned in literally years. I bought them for the wide fit and water resistance, having tried all manner of expensive shoes from other manufacturers promising the same features, but failing miserably. Initially, while getting used to them, I did have to wear thick, construction socks to protect my big toes in particular. But now my feet are used to them, I can wear any socks I like with them. And as advertised, they really are wide enough for my feet (my big toe usually wears a hole in "normal" sized trainers like Asiics), and they are truly waterproof (unlike the overpriced, uncomfortable Cloud 6 from ON). But most surprisingly, they have completely gotten rid of my re-occurring plantar fasciitis. I certainly didn't buy them for that, but this has been a more than pleasant side effect! Maybe it's purely because these are the most well-fitting shoes I've owned in years. But regardless, these are a great pair of shoes. Also, I'm writing this in July 2026, and bought them in September 2025, and as noted by others here, they look as good as new. I will certainly be buying these again, if I ever need to!
