Second set I’ve purchased. Love them. Nice sharp bits that last, worth the investment. Huge difference between cheap drills and investing in drills. You’ll be looking for an excuse to drill things. Almost cathartic, to drill a good hole.

I have to find the sweet spot when drilling steel not too fast not too slow. I recommend using stick cut cutting wax when cutting with these were steel. It helps to keep them sharp and it cuts faster.

I’ve drilled a bazillion holes in every kind of material you can think of over more than 65 years of being an automotive technician, and used up my share of drill bits. I’ve learned to recognize good ones from bad ones and I’d have to say that these appear to be among the best quality around. Beautiful bits that cut like they’re supposed to. That’s why you pay good money for them. Even the circular container is a nice idea, but...... Champion and Amazon need to get together to figure out a better way to ship them. Champion puts a wimpy piece of plastic wrap around the seam of the container, and then Amazon tosses it into a big padded envelope to ship it. Boo on both of you. The wimpy plastic wrap obviously didn’t last long, and the envelope arrived full of loose drill bits and parts of the container scattered amongst the bits. I ALMOST sent the whole mess back to Amazon just the way I received it, but after seeing what great bits these are I spent an hour and a half putting things back together using a magnifying glass and electronic caliper (along with a good bit of ingenuity). I’m happy, but geez guys. Get it together, literally!

Good bits. Use them a lot.

The box is especially great and practical.

Received the bits quickly from amazon as a birthday present for my brother. They were still in the original shrink wrap from the factory when we opened it, but much to our dismay there were two of the smaller bits missing. This is annoying, but at least they were on the smaller side so less expensive to replace. This doesn't take away from the fact the the bits are over all of a great quality and made in the USA.

So far so good !!

As a contractor I go through a lot of drill bits throughout the year. These champion bits in my opinion handle the workload the best and stay pretty sharp for a few months of use. The real skinny drill bits are a bit fragile but I'd venture to say that's with almost any brand.

Just received this set, 7 drill bits are missing altogether, a number of others had fallen inside the packaging which seems to be poorly made. Can't say about the equality of the bits as it looks like the whole set will have to be returned. Poor first impression that's for sure.
