Some of the best movies ever!
I have reccently purchased this item after watching all three of these movies at a reccent social event. Scream 1 is one of the best movies of it's time, it's not like any of the awful parodys you have today for example disaster movie which are just stupid (in my opinion). But this movie is a traditional slasher movie but with humour which is really a great mix for a movie. The ending isn't too predictable which is normally where most movies fall at but not scream. As for Scream 2 most people don't have high hopes for sequals but personally it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed this movie and would watch it again. Finally Scream 3, not the best out of all three of them but is made up by the eye candy Patrick Dempsey. This movie is ok and worth watching but isn't as good as the first one.Overall this box set is worth buying, the price is amazing! one online website wanted £30 for it! thank god for amazon :) hope this helps

What's Your Favourite Scary Movie?
The Scream horror film franchise was created by Wes Craven (of a Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hills Have Eyes and Red Eye) and Kevin Williamson (of Dawson's Creek, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Vampire Diaries and Stalker). Starring Neve Campell, Courtney Cox (of Friends) and David Arquette (Courtney's ex husband) the series has made over $600 million worldwide.Scream premiered first on December 18 1996 in California. It is recognised as the first horror film to star a positive female role model (Sidney) and is credited with revitalising the horror genre in the mid 90s and inspiring an array of imitators, (Wikipedia).Scream 2 premiered on December 10 1997 and stars previous cast members alongside many new actors including Sarah Michelle Geller and Laurie Metcalf. A scene amongst film students at the beginning of the movie on campus shortly after the first murders have occurred analyses the success of sequels in relation to their prequels and like the Godfather trilogy, I believe Scream 2 does live up to if not supersede Scream in terms of expectation, plotline, depth and scare value, but I think the first murder in film one will always be the most shocking.Scream 3 premiered February 3 2000 and was noticeably less successful than its predecessors. Many account this to a shift from horror and violence as a major theme to comedy. However critics gave good reviews and Scream 4 was released eleven years later. This is also available on Amazon. The Scream Trilogy is exceptional value, especially if you buy second hand like I did. All the DVDs were unscratched and the magnetic catch still worked to seal the box and I found the films terrifying, certainly as scary as I did just under twenty years ago in my teens.

1 and 2 are awesome.. 3 is a bit crappy though .
The scream trilogy revived horror in the 90's . It is basically a huge homage to others such as Friday 13th and Halloween .Scream 1 is the brilliant and one of my fave horror movies . A killer is killing people in the small town of woodsboro . The killer seems to be after one girl in particular , Sidney Prescott . All leading to a thrilling climax in a party in a farmhouse . 5 stars .Scream 2 - If your looking for a scare fest your not really gonna find this very good . However as a movie i think this is extremely entertaining and i like it better than the original . More deaths , more blood . Sadly it kills off my favourite character Randy . :( . It sees Sidney and the survivors from Scream in college but not safe from danger . I think that it's impossible to guess who the killer/s is . 5 stars .Scream 3 - I really don't like this film much . The cameo from Randy is cool and the intro is kinda suspenseful . It just seems cheesey . I don't like the plot , setting or characters . Set on the st of Stab 3 , a movie based on the murders of previous films killings start . 2 stars .

These films are a classic slasher set to have. Scream 1 in particular was such a great film. Boxset is nice and picture quality on Blu-ray is very good. Overall, exactly what I was expecting. Delivery as always was next day.
