It smells like peppermint lol good stuff 🥰
I would say it works , I use it 2x daily on my dog and he’s fleas free . I forgot to spray him for 1 day and the fleas came back , I will be purchasing again once my run out . My dog hates me spraying it on him lol but it works on him .

Works from the very first use
I bought this shampoo because my cat and dog started scratching a lot, and I suspected they might have fleas. From the very first bath, I noticed a big difference. The product has a mild scent, lathers well, and rinses off easily. The best part is that it really kills fleas and ticks on contact, just as it promises. After using it, both pets were left with clean, soft fur and no irritation. I also like that it isn’t harsh and is specially formulated for pets, which gives me peace of mind. I would definitely buy it again. It works, lasts a long time, and is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Shampoo is wonderful !
I am not crazy about the Prevention spray on for the dog, and furnishings. My dog was losing hair from the spray . Might be too harsh for her. She has plenty of fur, but I don't like little spaces of missing hair. Maybe I will try only spraying it on her bed, etc. The Shampoo is gentle, suds up well and will remove anything lingering. I give the shampoo an A+. This product does not have any smell.

This product works!
If you are reading this it worked red and contact you need to wear some gloves be careful spraying it. I had to spray it in the gloves to rub it into the skin because it shoots out. It doesn’t spritz or spray so I carefully sprayed it in my hands and I rubbed it into the skin and the hair. I would get the both wash them with the shampoo first and then spray them. I got rid of the fleas after two dog baths. When you wash the dock wash them from the ears and work your way down all the way to the end of the tail to the paws inch by inch just as instructed on the bottle it works.

Did not work.
If you’re looking for a product like this, I suggest using the natural based product instead. Using the one that has natural essential oils work the best for my dog and my situation. Killed all the fleas help the dogs skin and just was more effective than this product. To me this doesn’t mean that the product is not good. It just didn’t work for my dog. So if you’re looking for an alternative use Adams instead it’s all natural won’t hurt the animal no pesticides and no need to worry about contaminating yourself.

Mild citrus smell, lathers great, effective on killing fleas and not the budget! My grail shampoo!
I’m almost embarrassed that I had to order this. I had a slight flea infestation thanks to “Le Dog”. In 30 years of dog & cat ownership I have never had to deal with fleas and ticks. Fast forward to 2023, I’m now living adjacent to a dense wooded area. Stupid me, I thought those expensive monthly chew tablets prescribed by the vet for fleas & ticks took care of just that, fleas and ticks. As they say, ‘it’s complicated’! As a pet owner, I feel like I’ve let them down. Believe it or not, I never saw a flea on my dog, it was found on the indoor cat that never goes outside! My dog is a dachshund/beagle mix so he has a smooth, very dense, tight double undercoat of brown black fur to hide in, but the cat… he has a fine coat of light ginger colored fur so it couldn’t hide and got caught ‘sneaking’ about. Long story short, after a quick call to the vet, all the pets needed capstar administered which would kill fleas immediately BUT not the eggs. Unfortunately, we are talking about giving reluctant 20lb male cats a pill they would rather not have. With one dog and 4 cats in tow we headed to the vet to have the ‘flea killer’ pill administered. Meanwhile, pest control came to bomb the house & spray the yard while on our little day trip to the vet. The next step was washing/sanitizing all beddings & linen and vacuuming the floors with the dog bath last. Since I was already familiar with the Veterinary Formula product line and it being paraben free and no skin reactions on the dog, I ordered their Flea & Tick shampoo. The 16oz bottle guarantees l’ll get more than a couple of baths out of it. I also needed to strike a balance of a reliable brand that was effective in killing fleas, was not harmful or irritate my dog’s sensitivities, and was affordable. This was it. I needed it to kill any adult stragglers, immature fleas or newly hatched fleas that the pill did not. My first “sniff” impression is the shampoo does NOT have a strong chemical odor, but more of a mild citrusy scent (better than what I was expecting). It does a great job of lathering up making it easy to work into the undercoat and reach any fleas living there. There was no skin irritation, burning, or allergy to using the shampoo and it left no residue. It felt more like a sudsy conditioner. I waited closer to 8 minutes before rinsing out the shampoo. That stuff is fantastic! Oh-kay, he didn’t smell as sweet as his oatmeal shampoo BUT… he had “salon soft” and silky fur! It’s actually better than the conditioner I have been using. As for fleas? I may have seen a spec or two in the bathtub. In all likelihood, the dog was used as a flea taxi into the house & cats. Up until now, the indoor cats were not on any flea prevention, but that has changed as well as getting flea combed. As they say, ‘where there is one, there is many’. While the shampoo was effective in killing & removing current fleas on Lucky Lou, it had to be used in conjunction with the other flea prevention treatments above to get ahead of the flea-eggs crazy life-cycle. A second flea bath was given 10 days out as a precaution. Did you know one flea can lay 50 eggs? Worse, one female flea in 60 days can leave you with 20,000 if not treated. -The constant spray, wash, vacuum, of carpet, bedding & linens and the once monthly flea oral & topical treatments now has house & pets “flea-free” for 82 days! I’m also pretty sure the cooler weather has helped to control the yard population as well as planting plenty of mint about. Overall, 5 stars! Neither dog nor cats have fleas! This is my grail of flea shampoo!

Veterinary Formula Flea and Tick shampoo
this Flea and Tick shampoo is excellent! I followed the instructions and it worked great .fleas died quickly. I did rinse the dog with warm water in the shower for about a minute or so creating a warm environment, shampoo the head ,chest , back and legs. wrapped my dog (9.5 lbs.) in a towel and sat in the shoer with him for about 3 minutes. the fleas were dead on the towel! then I rinsed him well. hopefully this will work for a while.

Does okay.
I have used it one time on 3 dogs with fleas. It does kill probably 60 or 70% of them, but it left a lot of them alive and hoping around in the bath tub. I did follow directions including leaving it on for 5 minutes. Got it in all the creases and folds and privates, but it just didn't do that great. I got them some natural flea chews, and give them a week then give another flea bath, hopefully that will work better. Over all, it did okay but I wasn't super impressed. And in case you're wondering, it's not super scented or anything. Also, it does not repel them. The moment they went outside they got covered again.
