I don't have a way to measure lumens, but the highest power I was able to run was about 0.7 watt/foot, measured at the wall. Assuming ~80% AC to DC conversion efficiency, and around 100 lumens per watt (reasonable for SMD2835 from what I can tell), that would work out to around 60 lumens/foot. **Q: Installed 2 sets in different rooms and both are turning on with the remotes. How can I separate the remotes?** A: Yes. you should be able to do so. here is directions i got from Novostella website: "the remote control can work at 2 modes, pairing mode (1 remote to 1 light strip) or Non-pairing mode (1 remote to many light strips). Before delivery, all the remote has been paired to the light strip, so they will work at 1 to 1 mode. But you can cancel the pairing by long press the DOWN-RIGHT button (100% cold white) within 5 seconds after plugging in the power adapter. (And to pair up the remote and light strip, you just need to long press the DOWN-LEFT button (100% warm white) within 5 seconds after plugging in the power adapter." **Q: Would like to have 2 separately controlled areas in the same room. If I purchased 2 of these sets, would the controllers interfere with 1 another?** A: No, they operate on different frequencies. I had a similar installation and the 2 systems operated independently with no interference or problems of any kind. **Q: Everyone is saying 3pin, but product description says 4. I am installing these in a recessed ceiling with jumpers to diff segments, and need to know?** A: The problem with this set is that the light strip is hardwired to a 3 pin power connector that is not compatible with all the 4 pin extension/connector kits. I don't see any 4 pin extension to 3 pin power adapters. Or, you would need a controller with 2 power connectors coming out to run 2 separate strips using one remote. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice control of white color temperature and great remote *by L***C on March 30, 2021* This light strip uses two different color temperature white LED set in pairs about 1.75cm (3/4") from center-to-center of the pairs, so they are fairly closely spaced. White color temperature is adjusted from about 3K-6K Kelvin by increasing or decreasing the relative intensity of the two LEDs in each pair. One LED in each pair is actually a 3K (yellowish) Kelvin LED and the other LED is a 6K Kelvin LED (blueish). I was afraid the strip would look like a string of yellow and blue LEDs, but in reality the color temperature control works very well and gives a very good rendition of various color temperatures between the two extremes, and it's fairly hard to see "yellow" or "blue" when you look at the strip directly (though a discerning eye will pick up the slight differences in color temperature between the two LEDs.The remote is actually of pretty amazing quality considering the price of this set. Where most of these LED strip comes with one of these very cheap remotes with a multitude of bubble buttons (not really buttons, just a bubble in the plastic) that sometimes work and sometimes don't, and almost always fail over time, this remote looks and feels remarkably like a Roku or Amazon Fire-stick remote. There are real soft-touch buttons. The buttons are well thought out and allow easy customization of the light strip without tons of redundant or needless buttons.A nice feature is the light strip has a memory and turns on with the settings in place when it was last turned off.The strip is attached to a clean smooth surface (such as that under a kitchen cabinet) and the adhesive seems to be fairly good. I've only had my strip installed for about two weeks, but there is no sign of them beginning to peel away from the under cabinet surface.I used this strip under cabinet in my officer where I have a couple of 3D printers, several photo printers, a microscope, etc. all of which needed more light to work with. They are working out perfectly and my wife already wants me to install more under our cabinets in the kitchen. I plan to wait another few weeks to see if they continue to work properly, but assuming they do, I plan to buy at least two more sets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great and LONG lights. *by A***4 on July 24, 2023* When I was looking for temperature changing LED strip lights that were around 40 feet long (yes, very specific, but that's why I was looking around) I stumbled across this LED strip. It is nice and bright and the remote can control it no matter where you point which is also a plus. I was really looking for something like this ALSO with RGB, but I found that this was good. I really wish it was USB powered, but I do understand that when it comes to this many LED's and the fact that they are bright that it is preferred to go with a standard barrel connector. The only thing I wish was better was the adhesive, because I stuck it on my wall and after a couple of days it started peeling off and drooping, also I had 1 single yellower colored LED that just didn't (not much of an issue). I do want to make it clear that my wall is textured and the box does say not to put it on textured walls which is why I didn't really knock it down points for that. I just used some other sticky tape and it did the trick just fine.
