Q: Would it matter if you are colour-blind?

The majority of key colours in the tasks are primary colours or black and white, but depending on the severity of colour blindness it might be a barrier if you were to try and play alone. These are team collaboration games so if one team member was okay with colours then the team could still succeed and I don’t think the colourblind team member would feel left out, plenty of symbols and other non colour tasks for them to do.

Q: Is this a okay once only game?

Yes this is a once only game. We have played most of the exit series and love them but this is a new version only recently released and we have not yet played it.

Q: Is it easy to set up, does it take a lot of working out how to play before you start? Thank you so much.

It takes no setting up at all! You open the box, take out the booklet and cards and you're good to go! Super easy! My family and I have played every single one of these games now. The first time we played it, it did take us about 15minutes to actually realise what we were meant to do. I would definitely recommend starting with one of the easier 2 star games. You basically read the instruction book (about 5mins) and open the game play booklet. From there, whenever you find a picture of a card in the booklet or solve a puzzle in the book, you enter a code on the code wheel and you can take that card out of the pack and read the clue etc... Good luck!

Q: Can you “dress” up the room you are to play in to give more atmosphere? We were booked to go to an escape room for a birthday but it’s cancelled due

There's no strong theme in this game to use to dress a room e.g. it's not set on a train where you could mock up a train carriage. I'd suggest lower lighting and work against a clock (set an hour) to give it more atmosphere.
