Image shows flat grind but description says hollow grind. Which is it?

Cold steel on occasion will change the grind type. The pendleton lite use to be hollow ground but is now a Sabre grind (flat) of which I prefere over a hollow ground blade normally especially on inexpensive steel value knife.

Will the edge chip if you baton and make feather stick with it? The pendleton Lite's edge was chipped when I made feather stick.

If your Pendleton Hunter chipped while making a feather stick there is definitely something wrong with the integrity of the knife as these are typically very tough and durable. As long as you are working with wood a knife should never chip during normal usage. Send it back or have it looked at by a knife smith.
