I liked that I could mix the drops with my usual skincare, which made it easy to control the depth of the tan. The formula feels gentle on the skin and is suitable for sensitive skin, which is a big plus. The color develops evenly with minimal streaking, and it gives a natural, sun-kissed glow. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it takes a little longer to develop compared to traditional self-tanning products, and I had to apply a couple of layers to get the extra-dark shade. Overall, it’s a convenient and effective option for a customizable tan that doesn’t irritate the skin.

love these tanning drops been using them for a few years so easy to use. it says to mix in with moisturiser but i like to put my moisturiser on first then few minutes after a few tanning drops and it seems to work great. very natural and buildable colour.

Used exactly like it says, but after a few hours my face was very patchy. And very orange.

After tanning disasters I had this recommended by a friend. Very easy to use, only use for face and neck but great to control how much you mix with your own moisturiser. Gives a lovely buildable colour so if you go light to start with you can build again once it’s developed. Just watch your hands, sometimes after washing them I’ve noticed it can get down the side of your nails so recommend a scrubbing brush after application. Doesn’t work for me using a mitt because it’s on the face and you need to make sure it’s even across the face and neck and only using my bare hands ensures that. But do recommend these drops.

They’re basically error-proof if you stick to 1–4 drops. If you somehow get enthusiastic, it’s not a crisis — it just deepens gradually over a few days. No dramatic overnight transformation. No panic scrubbing with a washcloth at 11 p.m. I really like that I can mix it into my regular moisturizer. That’s huge for me. I already know how my lotion sits on my skin, how it absorbs, how it behaves around my nose and eyebrows. So adding a few drops feels controlled and predictable instead of like applying a separate “tanning event.” I’m a longtime Clarins fan — I genuinely love the color — but this seems to last a little longer on me. And because it builds on itself so naturally, I don’t have to track the fade like it’s a subscription service. I just apply every three or four days. Sometimes daily if I’m experimenting. It layers beautifully without looking heavy. The color is subtle, believable, and forgiving. It looks like I went outside briefly and made good choices.
