– FH1s In Ear Monitors

These are just amazing for the price! Build quality looks great, and cable also excellent, with no microphonics issues. Sound is pretty much neutral, with the large driver giving the sound excellent bass and sub-bass, with fast bass slam. (Some reviewers mentioned low bass, which I disagree. Make sure you fit the correct tip for good seal.) Vocals are nicely forward, sounding full and rich. There is a sharp peak in the 8K frequency response, which can cause some sibilance to some tracks. This is the first IEM I have that I can listen to without need to equalize.. amazing! (I listen to pop / dance / jazz mainly.) Comparing to other "top" budget IEMs that I have (mainly in the £40 range), this is a whole level up, and easily worth twice the price..

Hugely impressed - using with Fiio X5 Gen 1 and blown away by the breadth and balance of the sound.

Love them, super comfortable and audio quality is amazing paired up with fiio dac.

Nice sounds

Sound really clear on a fiio m7 with no external amplifier. Make sure you try each set of end caps as the ones that come already attached may make them sound broken! As other reviews say, they are not all bass, they are nicely balanced. Very comfortable to use.

just that it takes me a few time to put it on & the engraving for left and right earbud is difficult to identify

I’m sure all the critical comments about the sound quality are valid in some way, but seriously, at this price, this is an incredible purchase. The base is incredible, and higher pitches are still super clear. I would just say that it seems like the vocals fade into the background, but only in comparison with the clarity of the instruments, the bass, the treble. The cable is so-so in terms of quality. I just find it heavy, and it doesn’t have mic or buttons. There aren’t that many tips to choose from, and only one pair of foam tips. I would still recommend to anyone who’s interested in getting started with better quality sound equipment. I’ve done a loooooot of research, and at this price, there doesn’t seem to be anything better. Tho, I’ve heard nothing but positive things about Moondrop Starfields, so if you have the budget, spend more and get those. These, however, are perfect for this price. I compared them to 1More triple drives, and their sound is flatter (all sounds seem like they come from the same place, if that makes sense, and it’s harder to distinguish between different instruments). The FiiO’s have a tremendous bass. I can’t imagine them being better at this price. Or even at all, to be honest. I would just add, if you can buy it from a local store, even a chain, do it! I didn’t have the option, hence Amazon!

To start off this review, I will say that the unboxing experience for these earbuds was phenomenally good for something this cheap. The box is actually nice and you could mistake it for something housing a $200 set of earbuds, but instead these are only $60. The wire is also very high quality, and the design of the earbuds is something I consider beautiful. The different sets of eartips is too a very nice addition, especially with them including high quality foam tips. Saves from having to buy something like comply or dekoni tips. They also include a carrying case, which you may have to swap out for something better, but is still a welcome addition. Overall, as a full package I think these earbuds would be everything somebody needs and more. The overall inclusiveness of this package makes me wonder why anyone would ever need a KZ earbud. For example, the ZSN Pro. The base price is about $20, very cheap. But the wire is garbage. A good wire replacement costs another $15-20. The included eartips are also garbage and only silicon. So you have to buy foam eartips for up to $20 again. And then you've paid $60 for everything this FiiO has in the box, and you didn't even get the sound quality from the FiiO. FiiO makes high quality DACs/Amps, and this is the second version of their sort of introductory IEM. And it shows that what they know is being fully utilized. The sound quality, simply put, is almost as good as my $400 LCD-1s. Shocking? How, could that be possible? Yes. From what I can tell, these earbuds are just neutral, with a bit more mids than I'm comfortable with. But you can fix that with an equalizer, something that costs you a grand total of $0. Is that worth it? Yes, yes, and yes. A million times yes. These are as perfect of a bundle as you can get for this price point. It has everything you could want, and what isn't great about it would be worse with it's competitors. I have to thank FiiO for making this product. It truly shows what can be done with making cheap IEMs that can have audiophile sound quality. As such I HIGHLY recommend that you try these out, and if you don't like them, that's fine. But at least appreciate what's gone into the making of this product.

My first IEM & I'm liking it as now I can feel the difference between normal earphones & the IEMs. No comments on pricing till now as this is my first experience. Sound stage is clear, loud & decent, won't hurt your ears. I feel "S" sounds a bit over powering over other but got used to it. Cable quality & build is very nice easily fits my ears.
