This is exactly what you expect: good standard quality EVA foam sheets with a nice dense solid black color. It worked great for multiple projects so far including faux armor. With multiple coats of silver spray paint, it looks like metal. Takes a shape with a heat gun and cuts beautifully with scissors. The example here is very shoddy so don't judge the overall foam by the craftsmanship of this particular armor. Done well, it would look great.

These foam sheets have a VERY, VERY strong chemical smell. The odor is so strong that it is sickening to even leave the package open in a poorly ventilated room or even work with in a well ventilated space. I tried popping a 4in square in a vacuum chamber for 30 minutes but this did not dissipate the odor. My entire garage smells like a chemical factory after I unsealed the package and this has given me a headache. I don't know if it will dissipate in time, but I will give it a week or two and maybe revise my review. If the odor doesn't go away, I will be returning the foam sheets.OK, the chemical smell has mostly dissipated after opening the package and spreading the foam sheets out for several days, so I've changed my rating. The best value I could find on the internet.

I use these for shoe inserts instead of buying expensive shoe inserts. This material is the same thing as the inserts in shoes anyway, so why not use these? Just trace out your current insert and install them into your shoes and instant comfort.

Great for foamsmithing. I can't afford name brand foam, but this works perfectly fine. Don't let the prices of name brand foam scare you. This is good enough to make helmets, swords, batarangs, and so much more with.

These foam boards let off a chemical Oder that filled my house and made everyone in it sick , a strong Oder like formaldehyde off gassed as soon as the package was opened ant it took hours to dissipate after I removed the product it was so overwhelming I put them to the trash immediately, this is a dangerous product

These worked perfectly for what I wanted. The sturdiness of it is what you would expect for 6mm. Nice to the touch. When I was looking, this was the best value for the money.

Foam arrived on time in excellent condition with no bent corners. They are the perfect size and rigidity for what I'm using them for. Solid color throughout .

I first bought this in 2021, and it was perfectly as advertised. When I reordered this in 2022 in preparation for Halloween, I found that the sheets were not cut into perfect rectangles - even though the sides were technically 9 inches and 12 inches, the corners weren't square, and in order to cut it as I needed it, I would end up with 20%-30% of it being unusable.I'm not sure if this is standard or just bad luck, but with Halloween rapidly approaching, this will cost me either much extra time or much extra money.
