Out of the second batch of six that I ordered, the first lamp I pulled out of the box was indeed 5,000°K, but unfortunately the other five in the box are 2700°K (Incandescent/candle color light), and are not good in my room. So I'll use the remaining in another fixture in the house and hopefully the next box I order will actually all be 5,000°K (daylight).This is an update (19 SEP 2022): I had one of these lamps fail in my fixture, which is on full (no dimmer) and operates about 15 to 16 hours a day. I replaced one; last I looked, these have been in service for seven to eight years. No bad.Original review: Hopefully, these will last a long time. I need 5,000°K color temperature for viewing photographic prints, and the light produced by these lamps color-wise is indistinguishable from the daylight coming in my windows. As a side benefit, the daylight light quality produced by these lamps makes me think of a summer day--rather than the warmer color output of 3200°K lamps, which are yellow and remind me that I'm inside for the winter.

Perfomance, size a little bit large than I expected but workable.

First let me say, if you’re purchasing these for the Ikea mushroom lamp, they will hit the top of the inside so you will have to adjust the top to make it work, but it will work. These bulbs are nice. I would purchase again.

They work as they should, my only con is they aren’t all that bright.

This light was really disappointing for me.I bought the daylight white version of this bulb, since I wanted maximum brightness. This light not only failed in producing lots of usable light, but it was a very harsh blue color. I have two other daylight white bulbs nearby, but neither of them have the strong bluish cast that this light produces. It's really unpleasant.Worse yet, the light is very directional. The fixture I used it in mounts the bulbs horizontally, parallel to the floor. The result is a brightly-lit wall near the ceiling, with a dim space underneath. It was nearly unusable.I have since replaced the bulbs with another brand. It's daylight white, too, but omnidirectional, less bluish, and easier on the eyes.
