Review: Good prduct - Did what it says on the packet
Review: Hold up well - The First one I installed span in hole, the wall side plug end. I used the drill size required. After that I used slightly smaller bit for tighter fit and they worked ok. Strong and hold shelf well. Take your time to align holes, you can adjust the bolts a little with a hammer if not fully lining up.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Someone can advise me what thickness of the wood needed for this screw 10mm? Thanks**
A: I would go with 16mm or above the thicker the better

**Q: Bought these but screwing bolt causes rawl plug to contract in diameter, not expand as shown in the listings images. Am i doing something wrong?**
A: Thinking of buying these myself so posting here in case its of help. It looks like there is a washer and a collar in the pack. The collar goes at the far end of the plug and the washer at the wall end. As you tighten the hex the clarr is pulled towards the surface and expands the plug. At least that what it looks like in the manus pics. I will find out soon enough !

**Q: can you use it on brick walls? the description says hollow walls only**
A: I have put up 2 floating shelves in a solid brick and stone wall using these. They are very, very solid fixings. The shelves have been rock solid for 8 months. They were also easier than other designs to attach the shelf as you do not need to rebate the wood to get a flush fit to the wall. The most important step is drilling the holes in the wood and wall level. Good luck!

**Q: Do these have eccentric adjusters - like others - to line up the shelf holes?**
A: I'm going to say no. I drilled holes in a spare piece of wood and uses that as a template

Glad i found these, and they worked a treat when using them spend time setting out use masking tape so holes line up in both shelf and wall. drill 12mm hole in wall keep it level and then the 10mm in the shelf as described. fix then to the wall and slide the shelf on simple
