D-Link DIR-890L Wi-Fi Ethernet LAN connection Router

I've owned many Routers/Access Points and this ancient DIR 890L device has never failed. EVER!I paid nearly $300 when I first bought it, now AMNZ wants $50!!! I would eliminate the WiFi portion,but need it for a while longer. Then, it'll be RJ-45 wired connections, either via wires or IP over Power.WiFi EMR is not good for plants and animals (including human-type animals). In a SOHO largelyunmanaged infrastructure, it has all the security features I needed @ the time AND now by addinga ring structure to the edge, e.g., NETGEAR Trek N300 Travel Router PR2000 does a great job and allows me to establish a remote port @ home. I used it when I was a road warrior pre-retirement (last six years, ending mid-June 2017). I still use it as an added layer of protection, especially useful with intrusion detection software. Of course I've dithered on replace/upgrade, but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!".Any recommended network devices that don't require the use of switched fabric and the mgmt headaches IT brings to the party?!?
