## Questions & Answers

**Q: When making clarified butter, will this product allow whey at the bottom to be poured off from when butter (which is at the top)  is heated?**
A: I don't think this product works for home made ghee. I have two reason for that; the first reason is that the plastic is not for high temperature (like the clarified butter needs), the second reason that I believe is not for that becasue the hole in the bottom doesn't have a  mesh that can caught any crumbs. Personally, I don't use this for my home made ghee, just and only for my chicken or beef broth.

**Q: Is there a Manual on how to use this?**
A: Very easy to use. Let liquid cool a little bit until you see the fat separating. Pour into separator and put a container under the fat separator.
Push down knob and liquid will start draining. Stop when you are close to the fat.

**Q: Does fat stay in top?**
A: Given time, the fat rises to the top. Pressing the button opens the stopper at the bottom so you can drain off the nearly fat-free stock.
