This is FANTASTIC sunscreen. Definitely get some. It is not greasy. It has no smell. White goes away in minutes. Until then it’s handy for seeing where it is and where you need to put it. No sunburn. Stays on in water. ZERO allergic reaction which is what I’ve been searching for. Thrilled with this sunscreen!!

I’ve been really happy with this sunscreen. It’s a healthy mineral formula with fewer chemicals than a lot of other options, which makes me feel good using it on myself and on the kids. It goes on smooth, blends in nicely, and doesn’t leave that heavy, oily, or greasy feeling some sunscreens do. Easy to apply and comfortable to wear. Protected us for hours in the hot sun, also in and out of the water. Solid, reliable choice we’re glad we bought.

This stuff is great. I am blonde/blue, very pale skin, burn very easily. We went to the Caribbean for a week and used this for protection. Even with hours of beach and snorkeling - zero sunburn! Zero. I was very impressed. Reasonable price, and one bottle can last. My family of 4 just used 2 bottles during that week. Granted, two of us wear swim shirts so there was less to cover, and we generally spend half-days at the beach, not full. It says reapply after 80 minutes, but I think that's conservative. It does go on thick, leaves a bit of white cast, and doesn't come off easily in the shower, but to me those are good things. It's easy to see where you have covered, protects well, and doesn't come off easily in the ocean or light toweling. Well worth it! Will definitely use again.

I love this sunscreen and use it daily. I first purchased the sunscreen for my granddaughter and her sensitive skin, but after using it my self I use it every day on my face and shoulders to combat uv Ray's damaging our skin. It is smooth, light, and non greasy. Once absorbed by my skin I cant even tell I'm wearing it, feels like nothing!! I also love that because it is a mineral formula and safe for reef animals, it is also better for creeks, lakes and even pool equipment. I will forever be a blue lizard girl and hope my family will continue to use it for years to come.

My face, neck, and arms all tolerated it without one stinging moment, which says plenty since several sunscreens make my cheeks protest. Shake the tube first like the directions state, then spread it on dry areas about 15 minutes before heading into the sun. Protection held strong through a long lakeside afternoon. Swimming and towel drying demanded reapplication, yet the 80 minute water resistance window proved realistic rather than hopeful. The label claims up to 98 percent of UVB rays get blocked, and nothing during the day suggested otherwise. No perfume smell, no sticky residue grabbing sand, and no irritated patches afterward. The aloe infusion appears to earn its keep, leaving moisture behind instead of tightness. Value lands in a fair spot too, and owning the stick alongside the lotion turned out smarter than expected. The lotion coats arms, legs, and everything in between at the start of the day, while the stick handles quick face and ear touch ups without any dripping. Pricing sits midrange among mineral options, the flip cap dispenses cleanly, and the reef friendly angle matters around coral waters since the blend skips the two filters most tied to coral harm. Drawbacks do exist. A faint white cast lingers longer than conventional filters, particularly on deeper tones, so blending takes extra effort. Thickness also burns through the tube faster than expected on full body days, though the stick stretches those supplies further between reapplications. Still, the protection, gentle ingredient approach, and solid water resistance deliver exactly what the label promises. Between the lotion for full coverage mornings and the stick for quick touch ups, this mineral pairing earns a permanent spot in the beach bag.

this is hands down the best one I've found. Even though the formula is thicker when you first dispense it, it spreads effortlessly and feels surprisingly lightweight once applied. It absorbs beautifully without leaving my skin feeling heavy, sticky, or greasy. What really sets this sunscreen apart is how well it works for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Nearly every sunscreen I've tried has caused breakouts, but this is the only one that consistently keeps my skin clear. It also doesn't have a strong fragrance, which is a huge plus since scented products tend to irritate my skin. I wear sunscreen every single day because I have rosacea, and UV exposure is one of my biggest triggers. This has become an essential part of my routine because it helps protect my skin from sun-induced flare-ups while feeling comfortable enough to wear all day. It layers well under makeup and doesn't leave a shiny finish, so my skin looks natural instead of oily. Pros: Thick formula that blends in easily. Feels lightweight once applied. Doesn't leave a greasy or oily finish. Perfect for sensitive skin. The only sunscreen that hasn't caused me to break out. Fragrance-free (or virtually no noticeable scent). Comfortable enough for everyday wear. Helps protect against UV-triggered rosacea flare-ups. Works well under makeup. Cons: The thicker consistency may surprise people who prefer very fluid sunscreens, though it blends in quickly.

Leaves a little bit of a white overcast but works very well in protecting you against the sun. I went to Bermuda and used this. Every part of me that was covered with this lotion was protected. Any part that wasn't even if it was underwater got burned. This product is really great. I love that it is reef-safe. Works on all kinds of skin types. Feels clean!

3.5 stars. This is an excellent sunscreen, but the branding is misleading on four points - first, the listed active ingredients are "100% mineral", but the new formulation includes Butyloctyl Salicylate as an 'inactive ingredient', which is functionally a chemical booster of SPF. Second, this ingredient is very similar chemically to Octisalate, which is FDA approved, but causes allergies in a small number of people who may be mislead by the 'Sensitive' label right front and center. Third, while Blue Lizard was "born in Australia," it is not sold there and is not subject to Australian standards for sunscreen, so the "Australian Sunscreen" branding across the top is problematic. And finally, Butyloctyl Salicylate is classified as a potential long-term hazard to aquatic life including reefs. Australia limits it to 5% concentration and recommends less than 1% for those pregnant or under 4. (This is due to an abundance of caution over endocrine disruption that is currently backed by very little research.) That said, it is a very solid sunscreen, no scent to attract bees, goes on smoothly, minimal white cast, excellent protection. You can't get this quality AND SPF rating without chemical boosters. I have no concerns over Butyloctyl Salicylate and feel safe using this sunscreen on my toddler, but it does feel hypocritical to promote mineral sunscreen as superior to that unfairly dirty word, 'chemical', and then use an ingredient that performs with all the advantages of a chemical UV filter but does not need to be listed as such. (I will note this is a common practice, and the formula change could have come from the manufacturing provider without input from a brand chemist.) As for reef safety, use sun-protecting clothing as the first line of defense - this sunscreen should not be allowed in enclosed touristy spots where chemical toxicity is already a concern, but frankly minerals have their own aquatic toxicity concerns. This review is accurate to the best of my knowledge as of June 2026.

Ha cumplido su función, es muy densa y cuesta extenderla pero es justamente lo que esperaba, iba de viaje a Cancún y son muy estrictos con los protectores solares que no son de origen mineral, aunque es incómodo creo que todos debemos concienciarnos y empezar a usar este tipo de protectores

My kids are often impatient and would Like to run away as soon as possible in the water. This stick worked well for them, we used it daily , multiple times per day, and it’s particularly easy to apply on their tiny faces , as opposed to the usual creamy texture.

This sunscreen delivers great wear & coverage. Would definitely recommend.

Good sunscreen. Does what it says, without added chemicals. Goes on white, rubs in colourless, stays on in water.
