These were freaking amazing. Easy to put up. Better than the noes I put up 30 years ago. Those basically locked the switch in place by a plastic tab on both sides of the switch. This has the tab on one side so no one flips the switch by mistake but that I can still rotate the piece to flip the switch if I need it.

The media could not be loaded. I have a couple of ceiling fans that are controlled by remotes. They also have switches for the light and fan, but if you use those, you have less control. So I removed the fan switch and mounted the remote in its place. I hardwired the fan and light to the other switch. But if you turn it off, the remote doesn’t work, so I bought these to prevent the kids from turning off the switch. Other covers looked too much like a cover and these are not very noticeable. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is that it can only be mounted one way with the “swivel” to the left and that if you tighten the screw to keep it from being lose, it is a bit hard to get it to slide back over the switch. You can see it in the video I attached. The reason you can only use it one way is that it has a “spacer” attached to it so it is up off the cover plate. It is nice that the pack comes with many of them, as I used two for the ceiling fans, one for a switch that controls an outlet I don’t want turned off and two for switches that control the flood lights around the outside that now have ring cameras on them. I would recommend these, they seem durable and add to the safety of our home by making sure no one turns off the ring cameras. They also look nice because you don’t really notice them in passing.

The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this product. I have smart lights but house guest would flip the light switches and mess up the bulb settings. I had the switches taped up but it was unsightly and the tape still was not a fail safe. We have almond plates so white was not an option and then I found these clear ones which was perfect. Another positive is that you can still use the switches if you need to, just move the guard out of the way. These work well and are the perfect solution.

These are a solution to the smart home problem of having to leave switches in their on positions that are economical, easy to install, and easily defeated when necessary. I recommend them.
