## Questions & Answers

**Q: I cannot adjust the humidity when on drying or raining settings. the humidity displays fluctuates. how do get constant running at 50%rh? thank you.**
A: When dehumidifyer is on drying mode, it can not be adjusted and will run continuously. I don't have my owner's manual with me at the moment. You will need to be on a mode, other than the "Drying mode" to adjust the humidity level.

**Q: How many sq ft does it cover**
A: I'm not sure, But it works great for my 1700 sq ft basement. I do know it's got more capabilities.

**Q: What exactly do the 4 modes do? What's the difference between them?**
A: Sleep mode = 50% and is low speed and quiet. Raining RH = 45% Drying is continuous on Standard is the RH you select

**Q: hiw many amp are used**
A: Dear customer,

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATED REVIEW. NOT SO HAPPY.
*by T***I on August 1, 2022*

UPDATE: You can read below that I was very happy with my purchase..UNTIL...it wasn't so great afterall.Bottom line, I had read about people saying their units didn't work but the company sent them a new one. WELL, they weren't so willing to work with me. I only had the unita for 2 days and found one unit worked while the other didn't.I couldn't figure out why the system wouldn't allow me to ask for a replacement --it only allowed for a return so I thought fine, I'll just write a note advising that I don't want a refund and to just send me the replacement.Guess what? Within just 2 or 3 days they had jacked up the price over $50.00 and wanted me to pay the NEW price. Of course I politely explained it wasn't my fault it didn't work and they politely told me tough luck and they would deduct $20 from the NEW more expensive price...and when I advised I didn't agree with this they told me they LOST MONEY so they raised the price. Well, uh...I'd anyone believes ANY company is going to sell things to LOSE money, they'd be a fool. SMH.So the moral of the story is don't buy something from a company who doesn't treat you fairly... unless of course you don't mind being taken advantage of. I'm ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE and it is infuriating when companies don't care anymore. Substandard!!Purchased 2 units: one for upstairs & one for downstairs; One unit seems to have something wrong with it but I'm sure the seller will make it right so I don't want to give them bad marks. The unit that works is amazing! We live in South Florida where it's humid ALL of the time! I would not have even thought about a dehumidifier until a friend told us how well it worked for his home so gave it a try...and it does! The first night water filled up the pan and it truly made our downstairs cooler! It really did make the air feel fresher--that's the best way I can describe it.I don't know if it will make a difference in our expensive utility bill--but I will access it over the next couple of months and update. Even it doesn't, however, it DOES take out the humidity in the air.I will also update the customer service aspect regarding the non-working unit. Stay tuned, folks. :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, no compressor to fail
*by M***R on August 27, 2020*

I replaced a compressor type dehumidifier and the Airplus Peltier type is much quieter. It seems to remove more water from the air in my garage than the old compressor did even when new, although comparisons two years apart is hardly an accurate test. My problem with compressors is that they seem to work for about a month beyond their warranty, then lose enough refrigerant that they start freezing up at the bottom of the coils, and don't defrost or cut off like they should, so you get a big block of ice at the bottom with no air going through, and efficiency is pretty much nil. This has happened to me with three different dehumidifiers from two different manufacturers, so I'm done with that technology. I'm hoping Peltier technology units will avoid these problems, and even though Peltier is theoretically not as efficient as compressors, I like the fact that there is no refrigerant, and no moving parts other than the fan. And if (when) the compressor type starts losing refrigerant, there goes your efficiency advantage as well. So we'll see. I signed up for the two year warranty, and I'll leave myself a note to report back at that time. But for right now, it works, it's quiet, and I better figure out how to hook up the hose because it is collecting a lot of water, and I don't want to be emptying the bucket all the time. Oh, it dropped the RH in my 1,000 square foot garage 10% in two hours when I first plugged it in, so I'm happy.Update 8/27/2022 Still going strong, one of the pixels on the display failed, but that's it. I'm still very happy with it, it has been running pretty much continuously for two years without a hiccup. Of course, now that the warranty is up, we shall see...🤞😉

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked well for about 1.5 weeks
*by P***O on August 27, 2022*

I really liked this unit and it seemed very efficient for its size. The main reason I ended up returning this to Amazon was that the fan inside started wobbling and even though it was running all the time it took hours to lower the humidity level in my bedroom. This was supposed to be a unit for medium to large rooms but it had to run a long time to get things in check. I liked it a lot overall. The design is nice, the wheels are nice, and the tank is relatively large. Ultimately because the fan began to fail and it still struggled a bit to lower the humidity I returned it to Amazon and went with a Midea 4,500 Sq ft model: MAD50P1AWS.I'm mostly happy with the Midea. It actually can catch up with the level of humidity. It seems to use more power and it is LOUD but it does its job. I should have just listened to Amazon and went with the HomeLabs one or the frigidaire but I'm happy with the Midea aside from how loud it is.
