Replace the entire wheel with something compatible. Make sure the axle spacing matches your frame. You will also need to make this a 1 x 11. If you want to do a 2x11, get the option with the 11-42 tooth cassette. If you opt for the 2x11 , I would recommend the removal of the outer chainring, replace it with a chain guard to take up the outer step on the spider and protect your calf. This will give you a 32x11 top gear and a 22x46 low gear (I am assuming your crankset is a 22/32/42). If you opt for the 1x, you should just get a new crankset. An inexpensive one with a square taper should do the trick. I would suggest a 28 to 32 tooth front sprocket. Your choice depends on the terrain you plan to ride and your fitness. I noticed a response that says you need an XD adapter. I do not think this is the case.
