The ink flows very well and is very pigmented. It does have gold glitter in it, though you can't really see it in the darker colors unless you hold it up to light. The glass pens it comes with aren't very good, they're too sharp and rip/scratch paper very easily so I would recommend getting better pens. It's good for beginners who want to learn to use glass pens since it comes with the ink and other materials. Happy with it for the most part!

The glass pens are absolutely beautiful and I love how they write. With only one dip into the ink you can get a lot of use out of just that one dip of ink. The ink is also really pretty. It has gold mica (I think it’s mica) in it and it gives the ink this really pretty luster. My only gripe is that when you uncork the ink for the first time, sometimes it explodes all over your fingers. Also, the caps on the ink aren’t the tightest, so be really careful when you’re handling the vials unless you want your hands to look like they’ve been involved in a unicorn’s murder.

Beautiful pens. They are a lot of fun. Two things to note: 1. When you open the caps to the inks, you will unavoidably get ink on your hands so I always open them with gloves on or with a paper towel. 2. I broke off the tip of 1 of the 2 dip pens within 2 weeks of usage - I think I was pressing the pen too hard onto the paper. The pens a little thin too so they are a little tough to grip. I have had lot of fun with these overall!

Excellent value for money. Would definitely make a great gift. Two pens, one is a very fine line. I was able to fill twelve lines on regular lined loose leaf paper, from one dip with the non fine line pen. Very impressed by that. The inks flow smooth without any drips or splatter. The set comes with so many colors, I just want to draw til my arm falls off! I kinda love the way the pens feel and sound as I draw and write with them. I think this is goodbye to disposable pens and refills for me.

I’ve only just opened this package, so to be fair this review is only about presentation. But for the price, on a scale of 1-10, this gets a 20! Each piece is inserted in a it’s own precisely fit cut out if the foam insert you’ll find, both in the bottom (holding the product) and the top of the box. The box itself is of the same quality as my designer shoe boxes. My top designer shoes! The little “cup” they mention for cleaning your glass pen is this this well made miniature cup, but thick, like you’d find in a juice glass. So cute! And I don’t remember reading about this, but it also comes with a glass stand, to keep the dipping end of your pen up off the (table, paper)... as long as it all works, this makes an AMAZING gift on presentation alone!

Love the glass pens. So easy to use and glides over the paper. The inks are such lovely colors. Makes journaling and doodling so much fun. Addictive!

A really lovely set of glass pens and inks for any artist, writer, or just someone who likes to send gift cards. This set came with a huge set of ink colors to choose from, two different and gorgeously crafted glass pens and a little stand to lay them down on. All in a pretty little box that is perfect for gifting and safely storing it's precious cargo. Everything arrived safe and sound ... probably due to the foam lining inside the box ... and i was scripting up a storm in no time at all. Each bottle has a rubber stopper to keep the ink fresh and I found if you pinch it with a tissue between your fingers that it is super easy to remove without any undue mess on the fingers or spills. I also discovered that this makes an excellent watercolor set to paint with! Just draw with the pens and inks then take a brush loaded with water and you can go over your lines which amazingly morph into watercolor paint! This set has been so much fun and looks awesome on my desk as well. As an artist I especially appreciate a new medium for expression~ I would definitely recommend this product!
